I need to know if this is an overdose Please help

I have a friend who just took 8 Excedrin PM, she only weighs 90 pounds, should she go to the ER or do you guys have any ways to lower her levels to a lower level
 
Hospital now!!
If you care about you friend at all you need to get away from the computer and go to a hospital.
Use your common sense for christ sake!
 
Better safe than sorry. Vomiting blood is ALWAYS a bad sign!

yeah i will i just got dressed im leavin to pick her up she said shes been drinking too at 90 pound pills and alcohol = hospital
 
90 pounds. 304 mg of Diphenhydramine. and 4000mg of Acetaminophen.. well since shes only 90 pounds the amount of 4000mg of Acetaminophen is gonna feel like 5000 this was probably a terrible idea for her..
 
yeah agreed, do u think shes gunna be alright... I no its probably not leathal but the potential for liver damage is uncanning
 
If you havent already get off the computer and take her to the hospital, we can't save her, the doctors/nurses can.

Where did you take her? I don't know if there's other hospitals in the area, but if you took her to Mayo Clinic at least you know she's got some of the best medical care in the US.
 
what kind of moron takes 8 excedrin p.m. to begin with?
and for what fucking purpose?

i don't know why you even waited to take her? you should already have known what any response you got here would be.

i guess let us know what happened so if anyone else encounters this situation has this thread available to them and won't feel the need to further wait for more responses....

I ended up takin her to St Marys ER (part of Mayo Clinic) They said she was alright, only minimal liver damage, She got released today, They said that since she was healthy, and threw up shortly after taking then, it got out of her system before it did too much damage. Thank all of you for the help and info
 
So she said she was stressed out and thats why she did it? Sorry, but there are some more serious issues at play here. You might want to talk to your friend about why she's acting this way?
 
So she said she did this for stress? What does that mean - she thought it'd HELP or she was stressed and did it to try to OD? *the fact that she was drinking is a little red flag to say the least.

Sounds like she needs a little more than a good discussion. I'd suggest psychiatrist/psychologist. Most likely there is a bigger issue lingering in the background.
