I need to help my 80 year old grandmother get relief from her cancer.

Honestly I think you should just try the marijuana. The sad thing is your grandmother is already 80 and even though we don't want to say it....she's going to pass away soon maybe in less than a year or 5 who knows could be longer. I'm sorry if that sounded rude or not because I apologize but the best thing is try anything. Try whatever you possibly can to make her living situation better. Hey if it ends up not working then at least you tried.... I don't think you guys have anything to lose and if they do test your grandmother's blood....are they honestly going to do something about it? She's 80 and has cancer, I think they would understand because she's in a lot of pain right now and can't even eat. I wish you guys the best of luck and hope your grandmother gets better.

Vaporization. Also, very gentle small hits off a joint (this little amount of smoke won't harm her).

I don't suggest edibles because they never worked for me (and yes I followed the recipes) and because for those whom they do work for, I've read many stories of extremely hard trips, throwing up, being high for days, etc. Basically oral cannabis if dosed wrong can make you trip hard and for me at least, thc trips are a lot scarier and more difficult to handle than mushroom or acid trips and they last longer too (longer than mushrooms that is).

you oculd easily taper the doses, start with 0.25 of a gram, then work you way up for oral edibles,

or make a tincture so strong that a few drops will get you fucked up, because green dragon contains alot of alcohol , and this isnt good for a cancer patient

the more i think about this the more it seems like a poor idea. If she as opiates, the truth of the matter is that is the strongest relief for pain. If she is having hunger issues she should consult her doctor.

We really aren't here to help you break the law, and this thread is leaning very close to this... Topped off with the fact that she changes her mind. If she has her blood drawn and tested at any point for the opiates, she would be pretty fucked over. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this, but this is a tough one to really go on about. There is a lot of potential for a harmful situation rather then harm reduction besides telling you not to make her trip out.

Anyway if she doesn't want to use cannabis while sober, you shouldn't feed it to her while she is high on opiates. It sounds like the case.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned marijuanas cancer fighting ability.
It's worth a shot imo, from what I've herd chemos success rates are poor...but hey, atleast you get your quality of life back on chemo... :\

Let your grandmother live her life dont force drugs upon her! But in all seriousness its probably best that you dont intervene with hallucinogenics. What happens when your grandmother calls 911 because shes "dying" People freak out on weed all the time, its something to keep in mind.

Another question: Would she fail anyway due to her being prescribed/taking Marinol?

i've essentially dropped the idea but was curious about Marinol causing d-test failure. I know testing questions aren't allowed but I think that what I asked is reasonable.

feel free to tell me if I'm wrong though, Chainer
