I NEED SLEEP. How many vicodins should I take?

I personally cannot sleep on hydrocodone. I'm very surprised to hear that some actually can. I just lay there feeling like I can sleep but just can't drift off. I would definitly try something different.

Opiates do make it hard for me to sleep. I take 160 mgs of methadone every morning. I rarely get in bed even, I usually nod out from 8 am till about 2 o clock then I force myself to go to bed till about 7 pm then Im wired up till dose time again (6 am). Just nod out in my computer chair (usually playing everquest) heh

Nodding is not sleeping. Nodding is like, a daydream with snippets of 45 seconds of sleep mixed in here and there. Hard to describe. To an onlooker I may look asleep but Im not...just in the blue.

Like Purttheory I will take a single or double dose of Nyquil and within an hour i'm passed out. Hydrocodone usually does keep me up unless I drink beer while eating the pills. When I drink and dope I usually pass out after an hour or two. It's not great sleep, just sleep.

I can sleep fine on hydrocodone, or after it wears off. You can try one pill if you want. Hydrocodone also makes my friend fall right to sleep heh. I guess everyones different, but it seems the majority of hydro users have problems sleeping on it. But personally, taking hydrocodone for sleeping, is a waste :P. Might as well take a nice recreational dose, and enjoy it :D

Something over the counter usually helps me . . . or you could drink a lot of alcohol, although I know that you are not trying to get drunk . . . try eating something with tryptophan in it, like turkey or drinking milk.

opiates have never made me sleepy. The have always given me that kind of.. I want to do something feeling. But some people that I know, fall asleep on them.. Now some people will tell you that has to do with tolerance, while this may be true for some people.. it was never true for me.. From the first time I took my first lorcet I felt like doing something.. even if it was just play video games! So I think, as everyone seems to say on this site, everyone is effected different.. but one thing is for sure.. if you take the vicoden, you will not mind being up as much lol..

Now when my mother had hand surgery, she's 56, and took some lortabs, they knocked her slap the fuck out.. so...

Any kinda of hydrocodone WIRES me until early morning if I take it late. A benzo or benedryl seemed to only base line me 8o . A fun buzz, until the tolerance built up. Quit a while ago, am on Ambien trying to fix my sleep schedule! Hydrocodone (Norco 10/325) really messed me up after a two month binge!!
