Opioids I need help ASAP! very scared.

Ok, so SWIM really needs some help right now. SWIM has been researching about how methadone can kill you so here is his situation.

BG Info: SWIM has somewhat of a tolerance to opiates because hes taken 10-20 mg of percocet almost every week (sometimes a few times a week) and he read that methadone is for people that have a tolerance.

today at around 5:00pm SWIM took a bar and a 1/2 of xanax. around 6:30pm he laid down to take a nap. at around 8:00 SWIM woke up and took 5mg of methadone to just experiment. later on at 9pm he broke the other half of the 10 mg pill of methadone in half (2.5 mg) and then at 10 took the other 2.5mg. SWIM read that one pill of methadone can kill you even at low doses so he is quite paranoid/scared at this moment. if anyone can help SWIM PLEASE help (SWIM wants to know if hes gonna die or not... odd question but yeah.)

PS: SWIM is feeling kinda itchy rite now 1:15AM

You should be okay if it has been 4 hours since your last methadone dose and you aren't dead yet. Regardless if you are nervous about it you should be with/call a friend and make sure they know what is going on if you stop breathing.

yeah im not very scared, but its always better to be safe than sorry especially when messin with drugs.

You're just being paranoid man. If you typically take 20mg+ of oxycodone, 10mg of methadone is not going to be dangerous for you. Don't take any other drugs along with it. You can ask dosing questions in the basic drug discussion forum here, and also check out narcotic dose convertors, such as this one.

Just for future reference, we don't allow the use of SWIM and such here as it makes things difficult to read and doesn't provide any protection at all.

How long have you been taking the percocet? You said that you take it almost every week, but fail to mention how long (months/years) you have been taking it weekly.

Perhaps having a friend with you will provide you with some peace of mind.
