I am new to BL, however have picked up some interesting info, resulting from basic google searches over the past few months. I SUCK at asking for help as "will power" has been hammered into me as the answer by family since my first issues began around age 16, I am now 33. Believe me, I know the will power thing is absolute BS, but its still my default thought process!
Well, it doesnt EFFFING work on your own, I am living proof.
I have had an issue with drinking since the first time I drank, blackout drunk, literally from the first time. Have been to outpatient treatment 3 times for alcohol and cocaine (Early 20's's thru late 20's) and was finally sent out to an extended program in the midwest for 5 months, followed by halfway house then sober house. I had 375 days clean and sober, during my best run.
Long story short, I have been able to keep things steady for the past 5-6 years and somehow even managed to land my dream job (which is why i need help, and need it NOW). I got hooked on roxys as a result of prescription given after i shattered my ankle in 8 places playing hockey. Numerous reconstructive surguries, plates, screwes, the worKs.
My real issue right now is getting clean from suboxone ASAP. I start on the 23rd of this month and have a drug test next week. Additionally, I am currently studying to take my Series 7 and Series 66 exams exams, next wed the 18th. I know, not gonna be fun.
If someone could point me in the right direction, specifically where to post additional details of my current situation, it would be greatly appreciated.
