I take care of old people, but depending on the season I'll also do odd jobs like help chop firewood/shovel snow/other yardwork.

There's a farm right next to my house and one time I went up to the farmer and asked him if he needed a farmhand, and the bastard laughed at me lol. Said "this ain't women's work" well fine then buddy, shovel all the horse shit yourself 8)

This is exactly what I did over the past year ("professional" caregiving and miscellaneous labor)

I didn't often get turned down because of my gender, more due to being a total loser I don't wanna discourage people from this kinda work though, it's simple and easy money with no thinking involved!

You could run a scam like solar roadways. Just make up some crazy pseudoscientific invention that "feeds the poor" or "creates unlimited energy out of water" then post it on a crowd funding site and watch your bank account fill up.
