I need a first festival!!

So ill be honest im 15 and would love for me and my friends to attend a festival! I like in NY so is there any place i can check to find out whats going on around me?

I believe most festivals require you to be accompanied by an adult if you are not 18 or older.

Are you talking huge festival like bonarroo or what? Electronic music or not? I bet there's tons of shit that you guys can do but, you should start by deciding what you're into enough to enjoy a whole day of.

I honestly don't think it's a good idea for a 15 year old to be going to any major festivals.
