I need a bit of help in pulling this one off. (Getting meds)

i've been butting heads with my doctor recently, and i have decided to try a new guy for this reason. i have legit pain, mostly caused by severe headaches. all along this man has been trying to tell me that it all stems from some unconscious conflict between my ego and my superego, which i think is complete shit. i learned the same type of stuff in psychology 101, and considering he's just a normal doctor, i don't appreaciate that from him. now, when i go and see a new doctor, i would like to walk out with a nice rx that will surely kill my pain, and perhaps have some rec value to boot. what type of things should i tell the doctor? (on top of the symptoms i already have) all input is greatly appreaciated!

Are you trying to get better or are you trying get drugs? Dealers are best for the later. If you are hoping to get pain meds with addiction potential for long terms pain problems they are going to try and find out what else will work, because they don’t want you to abuse the drugs or become dependant.
 
basically, i am trying to get better. to have a legit rx for when the pain kicks would be lovely, ya know? rather than scrambling together a bit of cash, calling my contacts, and going on various missions in order to feel decent is a bit much. considering that at times it's hard to function like a normal person due to those damn headaches. so, yeah. that's my situation.
