I need a 2nd opion about a shady friend

Alright I have a good friend in another state, and I had boughtin a dirt bike from him and it sux. I had to rent a truck to pick it up an everything. Looks awesome and i found out it wont take much to get it going.

Well now he wants to buy it back. And at $200 less for what i paid for,and that dont include renting a truck to go get it. And yes he told me it ran and i trusted him cause we have been friends 4 over 15 years. Well i told him ok. But he will have to come get it and that he told me he would have me the money by the end of the month.

Well I had hit a bump in the road and asked him if I could just borrow $75 and either I could give it back to him or we could take it off of the bike. He said ok and that he would wire it to me the next day. Well I sent him the info to wire he told me a couple hours well here we are the next day and he told me he was hurting and went to bed and would wire it to me and when i asked him how long he didnt text me back.

So im trying to figure out that why he wont txt me back and should I still sale the dirt bike to him. Its a nice bike and is worth double what im selling it to him back. Or should I just sale it to someone else who wants it at a better price. Hes giving me the run around and dont want to mess up our friendship but it seems he doesnt give a shit so why should I. What should I do?

Well the dipshit called me and was acting like it was my fault for asking and tried to turn it around on me. So im just saying piss on him. Apparently our friendship dont mean shit to him so neither does it to me... One less pain in my ass that I have to deal with.....
 
I appreciate that. I rather him have told me he couldn't do it,and I would have accepted that. Instead of me waiting for something that was never going to happen.

I let him move in with me when we were younger and had no place to go. Never asked for rent or any money for bills. I know he is going thru some shit right now, but so am I and whenever he needed me I was ALWAYS there for him. But the one time I needed him and he agreed to help me out. But then he blew me off like that. And for him to text me like he did. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE.
 
sounds like you've already made your mind up and you just want to rant. that's understandable but might be better material for a blog than a thread.

I woudlnt deal w/ him anymore. It sounds like because of a drug addiction he is acting sketchy. Sellling a high ticket item for a bag of drugs or to pay off a dreg debt or court fees is probaly the real story behind the dirt bike being offered so inexpensive to yourself.

U should come out and ask him if he has legal problems. Offer understanding about his situation and tell him that you feel u are being disrespected and its time he came clean.
