Hey,

Last night I popped a pure Molly pill. It was amazing.
First 35 minutes didn't do anything, then BANG i got hit & everything felt amazing.
Confidence level went up (I'm already very social), everything felt so gooooood!
Talking to everyone, dancing with everyone & having a good time.
Got some sick light shows too.
Lasted 4-4.5 hours

Good clean roll, & easy calm down.
Slept like a baby after.

Aprox: 180-205mg of mdma.
I just want to know what's the safe limit for doing Molly.
2-3 times a month? (Not consecutively, once a week type thing?)
 
Alexander Shulgin, considered the God Father of MDMA, recommends to take a 3 MONTH break in between uses.


This is because MDMA releases serotonin in huge amounts, and after you roll you're at a lowered amount of serotonin. If you keep trying to roll, you lose more and more serotonin.. and low 5-HT (serotonin) levels have been proven to be connected to anxiety, depression and bi-polar tendencies.

Many people say it's OK to roll once a month, but that's the MAXIMUM, and honestly is still too often. I recommend 45-60 day waits, if you really want to roll balls and be safe while doing it.



Remember, the longer you wait the better your roll will be.. but if you don't wait long enough it will not only be a shitty roll due to tolerance, but it will do quite some damage as well.

Well I think it's generally accepted that once a month is okay. Personally though (not recommending), I roll generally every 3-5 weeks. I find more of the perfect time rather than worry about a week, but no more than that.

You should read read through the FAQs and tolerance threads already available on this site. The advice offered thus far on this thread is in keeping with the information offerred throughout this forum and you should be grateful people are taking time out to help.

I'm not trying to be adversarial, I'm being very sincere in my question. This is a harm reduction site, I want to know the true facts, so I'd like to know the credentials of those who say such a thing. If it's a Nobel prize winning biochemist/physcian, I'll listen. If it's a group of high school ravers, well, the readers of threads like these ought to know that.

If you think high school ravers say a month minimum, you're out of your fucking mind. HR site? A month is HR. Maybe go look through some similar threads, and you'll see what I mean. Credentials? Fuck off. If you want credentials, get the fuck off an open internet forum.

Your still certainly doing damage to yourself at that point, while someone that rolls 4 times a year doesn't have to worry about that at all. There's a certain balance you need to find for yourself between having fun, and being responsible. If you can justify using every 3 weeks to yourself, that's one thing.. but trying to pass it off as harm reduction is another ;)

I think telling someone a reasonable HR measure that they can actually follow instead of giving them some unrealistic 3-month HR time that they'll never follow is more beneficial.

B) I figured once a month was ok, from the research I did.
I read (twitter) up on people that are popping molly like every 2 weeks :O, at raves & afterhours...
Maybe they just popping like half a pill or something?

EDIT: Read up on some tips.
-Eating healthy (meat & dairy help a lot), physical activity, & a good sleep cycle helps a lot. (All which I do)
-Also read, "5-HTP, it's a vitamin that is extracted from plants" is good for drinking since it helps restore it. Not sure if true or not.

I had significant loss of magic dosing 200-300 mgs of MDMA monthly, and noticed side effects as well throughout the month: A month is minimum before a redose should occur. My understand is that it takes 3 months for serotonin to fully regenerate after a roll.

Now I require ~ 500 mgs to get that lovey feeling back, and I will only consider at most twice a year.
But I guess thats what happens when you get jaded.
 
i still believe if you have 10 individuals (yes of the human race) they will all be effected differently/individually. some will be fine with dosing once a month some will need to keep it too 4 times a year...there are many factors at play like diet and lifestyle.

^ i agree with this. its can be risky business walking out the door in the morning for work...try and find a balance. obviously in the long run less is more but you never know when your time is up.

Basically it comes down to users choice.

If you have a great lifestyle: diet, exercise, healthy etc.. it helps a lot too.
 
If you take MDMA once a month you'll probably lose the magic and have some harsher comedowns within a year or so. I've never heard of anyone being able to sustain it much longer.

Did you experience this personally?

Just for fun since i was curious.
I talked to 2 people who rolled 3-4 times a Month & took a month(aprox) off & changed it to once a month [Amounts of MDMA from 160-300mg]
-Surprisingly the girl who did it 3-4 times a month (then took a huge break) didn't notice any loss in "magic".
-Once the girl changed to monthly girl said stayed the same effects, but didn't last as long.

The guy had the same answers except he said that when he changed to once a month it was just as good as before.

Both these people were physically active, exercised regulatory, great diet & good sleep cycles.

I guess it depends on the person/lifestyle/body/MG of MDMA you take.
