I love dancing when I'm drunk, but not sober. Will I wanna dance on Molly?

I've been sitting on some Molly (four 100 mg pills) for a while 'cause I want to do it in a fun setting. I'm thinking of trying it at a huge campus dance in a couple days at a pretty low dose (one of the pills). Two questions:

1. If I'm the type of person who can only dance with a couple drinks in me, will I want to dance on E?
2. Would it be OK to drink and be on E? I'd make sure to keep hydrated.

Any relevant stories would be appreciated!

Have you done MDMA before?

MDMA is noted for wanted to make people dance, but it's certainly not the case of a guarantee with everyone- you may find yourself preferring sitting down and talking, getting a light show (if that's how your campus dances go).

I'd strongly recommend sticking with alcohol if your school is not the type where others may be on MDMA, I find setting and company dramatically effects how MDMA goes. MDMA is not an experience you should have while trying to hide that you are on it.

Dancing on e is one of the best feelings in the world! I was never a person who danced much, until the first time I rolled and realized how fun it was. I don't think you really need to worry about whether you'll want to dance or not, when the time comes, just do what you feel like doing. Though, there is a reason it's a "club drug". People be dancin'.

A few of ecstasy's noted effects:
"enhanced appreciation of music"
"uncontrollable urge to dance"

It's a nice combination. I think there's a good chance you'll want to dance.

I've never done it before.

It's certainly not the case that a lot of people will be on it, but what people say about this event is that it's "whatever you want it to be". Lots of people will be really drunk, so I don't think I'd feel weird being on a different substance.

Word, thanks so much. :)

I dance like mad on E,
and the euphoria that comes with it..

ohhh damnn
i personally say dont drink any alcohol with the mdma.

id suggest 1 capsule would do you as you have never taken it, there will be enough magic in that trust me (depending on how reliable your source was and how pure your mdma is)

I never drink when using mdma just sips of water throughout the night (Plus my rave nights are cheap like this :D)

Happy rolling, and after rolling, say a day later munch on dark chocolate will help your Comedown (Although when i did 100mg first time i didnt get a comedown)

No drug (with the possible exception of psychedelics) can prepare you for the significant experience of MDMA, it's an emotional and meaningful experience that is only similar to alcohol in that it lowers inhibitions. Even so, MDMA will more likely make you "open up" than messily "spill your thoughts" like alcohol. It's an experience you can enjoy in many situations, but one of the only necessities I'd claim it has is that you be around people who are rolling too, or at least know and support your choice to. You'll be on a very different "train" than the drunk people. In fact, drunk people seem a bit silly and sloppy when you're rolling. If you're determined to go for it, do it, but I'd recommend involving a trusted friend or sexual prospect in the MDMA consumption.

If you like dancing when you are drunk (and looking like a drunk) why don't you dance sober when you will surely be able to dance better.
Consider taking dance classes.
And my guess is that you will want to dance on mdma, but I still suggest getting the lessons.

Dance lessons aren't necessary to groove man. just feel the music, and don't care what you look like, like alcohol, mdma does lower inhibitions, which is probably why you like dancing under the influence, going to a rave high on mdma and dancing my ass off all night really opened me up to how fun it is, I was hesitant to dance sober before that, but is isn't a problem anymore.

If you like dancing then go for it, but keep in mind your not at a club where everyone is anonymous and you will probably never be seen again (Except the people you came with). Your on campus and certain dance moves will get you looking like a fool if you dont know how to execute them properly, then next school day some girl comes up to you asking if you were that crazy guy twirling your shirt around dancing to some slow jazz.

Rule 1.
DO NOT BREAKDANCE.... Unless you know how to. Especially on E. Its one of those types of dances you walk right in the damn middle of the dance floor and then start clearing yourself room to do it. Then you end up just rolling on the floor and bust your face trying to do the worm. Trust me i've seen it before and I will never forget it, hilarious XD.

Rule 2.
Go with the flow, most songs you can get down with just moving side to side and small side steps dont try to over do yourself cause your rolling balls.

Rule 3.
Avoid the cupid shuffle or any songs that require the whole building to be in unison IF your rolling to damn hard to see. Why? Your not in unison with everyone to begin with! If you dont know how these songs go dont let this be the first time.

Rule 4.
Give a damn about not giving a damn. Dancing is all about not caring about what others think. Correct. While sober or slightly tipsy. While your rolling more then likely you wont care about anything cause everything is already perfect, so why care? Your dignity. And your campus life in shreds.

Anyways have fun man and get the groove of things whilst avoiding this:

It's all about atmosphere imo.
- Do mdma when your at a friends house with your buddies and good music playing and you will just wanna melt into the couch and talk about your lifes - which is awesome, everything is so comfortable and you just feel like your connecting to everyone in a way you never have before.
- Do mdma at a concert/show/festival it's a totally different experience imo. You may still get 'floored' and want to chill but chances are when you see the lights and hear the bass you will want to dance your ass off!

Hehe I love this post!

I'm a girl and I've thus far gotten away with dancing at parties not knowing how to dance at all - once I get a few drinks in me I just feel the music and groove, trying to stay inconspicuous (I'd never try to breakdance :)). When I'm sober and try to dance I get flustered and embarrassed. I also went to a party coming down from a 2c-e trip and it was the same - I'm fairly self-conscious on psychs.

From what y'all say it seems like there's a good chance I'll want to dance on E. I think I'll probably get a little tipsy pregaming w/ friends (like three drinks, whereas usually pregaming for a party I'd have 6-7) then eat a cap of E and see where it takes me. Thanks to all of you guys who have replied!

I'm similar to you in that I don't really go crazy dancing if I'm not sober, but when I'm drunk I love it. So when I rolled, I was more inclined to dance (even if it was by myself). I think you will as well, especially if you're in that setting, because you'll be feeling the good vibes from everyone else and it will just make you want to join in on the fun!
