How exactly do they make it like if u lived in afgani and had them plants all around u how would u get high from them?
 
poppies-->opium-->morphine-->heroin. I really don't feel like explaining it. Do some research.
 
If your surrounded by opium poppies and all you want to do is get high off the flower...get a knife...cut the base of a ripe opium poppy...let the resin seep out...collect the resin from about 5 or 6 poppies...take them to your hut....spread the resin on an old animal skin and let dry in the noon day sun...once the resin is dry..put the opium in a pipe and dream a little dream!!
