I just took 400MG off Tramadol (with a twist please help)

He could experience a seizure at any point whether he did or did not bump up the dose (or take anything to begin with).

It's already been said that he could experience a seizure at high doses, no need to make him freak out and wait for the seizure to hit...

No, he only had the chance to experience seizures once he went above 400mg, not before bumping it.

Not good to take tramadol if you are wd'ing from benzos. I hope the Ativan was being used as needed, so your seizure threshold isn't already low because of benzo withdrawal. 550 mg is WAY too much for two reasons, one is because of the increased seizure risk, the other is because of the risk of opioid overdose if you have no opiate/opioid tolerance. I took 100 mg with almost no tolerance, and that served me just fine, and dandy. My dog wouldn't take her pills anyway.

Well, you would have to take a lot of Tramadol to overdose, I don't think 550mg would be enough. It doesn't nearly cause respiratory depression to the extent that full opiates do. But you do want to watch out for serotonin syndrome so that is a good reason not to go too high.

My dog was just prescribed Tramadol yesterday and a couple weeks before that. Damn thing is becoming addicted! Gave her Fenatyl after surgery.

Step 1: Buy dog.
Step 2: Kick dog.
Step 3: Take dog to doctor.
