I've NEVER been physically fit, even remotely. I'm not obese however. I'm 5'9" at around 130 lbs. The other day was my first day at work. When I was done, I was exhausted with muscle pain all over. I was wondering if it would be safe to take 15mg at the start of work and another 15mg halfway through. I work for about 6-7 hours btw. I carry a lot of heavy stuff, scrub pans, put away heavy stacks of dishes, etc.

Anyways though, I have plenty of experience with stims including adderall but have never used them to do physical labor.
I want to know if its safe to use as a booster so I can keep up.

It's a start going down the wrong path.

You'll get used to the physical labor after a week or two.

^ +1

You will get used to it pretty quickly without any drugs, and it will be good for your health too. Taking stims to get you through a day of work is going to bring you a world of pain, and you will end up losing your job at some point. Save the drugs for recreation.

Just wanna emphasize the part in bold up there ^
Employers often catch onto that sorta thing a lot easier than we expect. Plus it will only make your job harder to work while sober, which can never be a good thing. And consistently using amphet on the job is just asking to be fired, esp. while working with the public as you have to maintain a better image for your business.

Another +1 to the above advice. I started using amps the same way. In about a week's time I was thrusted into the cycle of take some, can't sleep and stay up all night, so then take some more, crash, and repeat. Your job won't last very long.

Like the others have said in the above posts, just work through it. It's NORMAL. It'll go away in a week or so. It doesn't take long for your body to get conditioned. Nothing like an honest days work sometimes. :)

I wish I would have known this 10 years ago...

thank the job for giving you exercise, you will be fine in a week or two, not only that but you will lose weight which is great for your mental health and self esteem

using drugs at work is a seriously bad idea that you will regret.

I'm confused.
Are you male or female? 130lb is just about smack-dab average for your height (5'9").

Body Mass Index references:

Underweight = 18.4 or below
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = 30 or greater

So it doesn't seem like you need to lose much - if any - weight to be healthy.

doesnt change the fact that fitness is great for everyone and will do the two things I mentioned, amphetamines anything other than recreationally are a disaster for the majority of people

Yes, I agree with all points made in this post, yet still I get the feeling that the OP may have been suggesting a weight problem of some sort? Or did I just misconstrue that from reading "I've NEVER been physically fit, even remotely. I'm not obese however." ?

Maybe these were two separate points? The way its written it looks like he/she is basically saying "I'm overweight, but not obese". As I said though maybe it was just a misunderstanding.

I think they are just saying they are very unfit, but not overweight.

you should eat more and lift weights as well so you can not only have an easier time at work but it also has many other benefits.

I am not in shape, I am not overweight...It is possible to be skinny and out of shape. I took the adderall today for work and it helped quite a bit btw. I was prescribed various stims for ADD/ADHD-Ritalin, Focalin, Vyvanse-and took some everyday as PRESCRIBED by my doctor. Taking them everyday eventually gave me anxiety issues so I quit taking them. This was about a year ago. I am fully aware of their effects and have no problem not taking them. I use add maybe once every few months max. This is after fully experiencing the high that it can give. I HATE stim comedowns and therefore have no problem stopping usage. I quit COLD TURKEY, had no withdrawals I couldn't handle, and didn't feel an urge to take more.

I was OFFERED an adderall prescription by my doctor and REFUSED because I didn't like the aftereffects of taking it everyday.

The last few years I have been on and off sporting regularly. I can say I know how it feels when you go through the 'untrained' stage and your body feels all sore. But when you persist, and ignore the muscle ache, you will find that, in a few weeks, as people have said before, you will feel a lot better and not just during physical exercise. ANYTHING will get easier, for example walking to your job and walking up stairs, etc. Anything will be easier and more fun and this is something great which no drug can give you, I think.

And even though it can feel bad when your muscles are really sore, and you have to use them the next day again, there is nothing bad about it. Physical exercise is the best way to relieve muscle pain.

I took an aleve with the adderall. It seemed to loosen my muscles and the pain wasn't nearly as severe. The adderall helped me work really hard. I got complements from the manager all evening. It felt great and when I was done with work, I wasn't in horrible shape like last time. Would it be safe to use them until I'm more conditioned to the work?

You wont get conditioned to the work whilst you're taking drugs to get you through - when you stop, it will be just as hard - maybe harder - to get through. In the mean time, you are digging a deep hole that gets harder to get out of as time goes by. You clearly don't want to hear this, as you've ignored everyone's opinion already. It's your choice either way, though you have to wonder why a bunch of drug users are telling you this is a bad idea.... just a thought.

I thought about it and kept one in my wallet in case I needed it but I didn't and ended up getting off early. Would it at least be safe to use on occasion if I'm tired, etc?

It's good that you got through without it, keep doing that and it will get easier. It will be 'relatively' safe to use on occasion from a physical stand point - same as using recreationally, however you run the risk of your boss noticing as they get to know what 'normal you' is like, and again - if you need to use drugs to get you through a normal day, then you have a drug problem, which is often a manifestation of other problems in your life. My advice to you is to enjoy drugs recreationally, and leave your 'normal' daily life 'normal'... you'll enjoy the drugs more and your life more.

You'll get to the point where you can't work without it. Tolerance will develop and you'll end up spending your pay on gear which is just pointless - I dit this for a couple of years. Its too hard to break the cycle once you start. Stick it out without it and you'll soon adjust
