Well I tried to post a thread a few minutes ago but my crappy ass ATT uverse went down on me just as I hit "post" So I lost damn near 30 minutes of content and I just don't have the patience to try to re type it all.
Suffice to say "Hi everybody" and I hope to be a productive, contributing member here.
Acouple of bullet points of my ATT destroyed post:
Raspberry leaf, if you make smoking blends I highly recommend it as your substrate. Smokes so smooth you may never smoke anything else ever again.
Potential hazards of RC's: Who cares? The majority of them will not be a problem until decades later in your life and if you are like me, you'd rather enjoy your life now while you still have a bit of youth and vigor and let the future take care of itself.

Welcome to BL! I hope you find some useful and or entertaining info/threads. There is quite the variety in here including a good bit on RCs.

That's a very reckless attitude to have.

Some "research chemicals" aren't very dangeous at all. Like you said the majority of them are pretty safe. But there exist a hand ful of compounds that can truly and totally fuck your mind, your body or even your life up if you abuse them. Some compounds (MPPP/MPTP, 4-methylamphetamine, 4-methoxy-(meth)amphetamine) *are* actually toxic. But you don't know which ones are and which ones aren't unless you do the research first.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that attitude, but most people who abuse drugs and end up with health issues because of it (not even research chemicals- street drugs with known risks like IV heroin, etc) don't look back on their wanton abuse of their body as a good old fun time. You lose your right to complain about drugs being unsafe if you don't research how to use them safely *(and that includes making the choice to NOT use it when it's unsafe). Same with some tobacco smokers.

Enjoying your life is definitely important, but there's no point in doing it if it's going to be clearly unsafe. That's what Bluelight is here for though.

Welcome :)
