What is clonazepam or xanax supposed to do? I dont get it. I was randomly prescribed xanax and took .5mg then 1 and I never felt anything. Same with clonopin, I have a stash of them but they are good for nothing.

Also, does opiate withdrawal make you tense and make you cry and whine like a bitch?

How come 150mg codeine rectally felt like the usual warmth and beauty, like a decent morphine, whereas 10mg hydro+10 oxy rectal was barely felt? I feel like i wasted my oxies.

Also, regarding trams, they were once my fave, but is there any way not to feel good on it? Trams are false opioids and the damn serotonin and adrenaline effects were once great, but id rather have them antagonized. Any way to antagonie them? I have metoprolol but dont think it could work??

What was the xanax prescribed for?

Opiate withdrawal actually doesn't make me all that whiny, just tired even though when i go to sleep it's always broken. Couldn't tell you about the hydro and oxy as I have never plugged them.

Tried tramadol once, would never touch it again personally. And as opiates are a CNS depressant I wouldn't take the beta blocker with it. I do but that's because the beta blocker slows my elevated heart rate to normal speed. If you are already beating at normal speed you're going to slow your heart rate too much.

In my experience, most people need to take at least 2 or 3 milligrams of Xanax before they feel anything even approaching high. Expect euphoria and sedation, albeit of a different variety than you're used to with opiates.

Also, opiate withdrawal does have horrible effects on your mood, yes. Personally, I tend to feel angry for no particular reason and I can't stand the sense of touch. It's entirely possible for one to feel upset and whiny on them.

As for the rectal codeine and hydros, I'm not entirely sure, but I do know that some opioids work well rectally while others don't at all. This could be the problem here.

You're just full of questions.

1. What is clonazepam or xanax supposed to do?

They're benzodiazepine drugs. They reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure, and produce muslce relaxation and sedation. At higher doses they can produce paradoxical stimulation, memory loss, euphoria etc. Some individuals feel they do "nothing", some people feel relaxed and floaty, and some people just fall asleep.

Clonazepam (Klonopin) is normally used for treating long-term anxiety and seizure disorders. It is long-lasting (6h+) and normally used at doses of 0.25-2mg.
Alprazolam (Xanax) is normally used for treating anxiety and is often abused for a 'high'. It is short lasting (~2-4H) and normally dosed between 0.5-4mg.

Be careful as regular usage of benzodiazepines can produce dependence and addiction!

2. does opiate withdrawal make you tense and make you cry and whine like a bitch?
Opiate withdrawal makes most people feel like shit. Like having the flu and being really irritable. So, yes.

3. How come 150mg codeine rectally felt like the usual warmth and beauty, like a decent morphine, whereas 10mg hydro+10 oxy rectal was barely felt?
Oxycodone & hydrocodone are best absorbed orally. That said, you could just be more sensitive to codeine... some people are. Codeine is notoriously more "itchy" and warm than some other opiates.

4. regarding trams, they were once my fave, but is there any way not to feel good on it?
Tramadol is a "real opioid", it just has secondary effects as a SNRA. There's no real easy way to counter the added effects though. Metoprolol (a beta blocker) might help a bit but if you are looking for a "pure opiate" experience the best advice is to avoid tramadol entirely.

I see. Tramadol is good only because it takes an hour to come, which by then is like a surprise, and its so cumulous. You take 50mg, then 50, then 50, and your feeling opiated for the next 10 hours, and feel
the serotonin for 20, although i dont want to feel the serotonin.

Also, benzos are crappy, false anxiolytics. They make you say empty shit, dont know how to explain it, never really been on em, but benzos just make you stupid thus you dont get anxiety. Opiates fight the pain and get you to say normal, fulfilling things without the fear of being hurt after it.

But without cannabis and excorsise and moderation, opiates become hell and pain and suffering instead of warmth, love, and beauty.

Also, benzos are crappy, false anxiolytics. [...] never really been on em,

BZD's work effectively for a large percentage of people, I wouldn't slag them too much.

They are, admittedly, overprescribed and denagerous if misused, but for the short-term treatment of anxiety (and for things like seizure disorders) they are pretty invaluable. Consider that the older alternative would be a barbiturate... (and that some people feel far too "clouded" on opioid drugs).

Be very careful with benzos, you don't actually face your fears or confront the problems life throws at you, and then when things get stressful, you want that pill because it takes the stress away but when you "come back" all your problems are still awaiting your return...
