If given the choice would you want a script for 10/325 oxycodone or 15 mg ER of the new formula oxycontin? My doctor has given me the option for my chronic back pain. The 10/325 seems to hit faster obviously and seems to be the more euphoric of the 2. However the Oxy 15 ERs aren't bad after learning to suck and chew them down befoer swallowing. Would appreciate replies from those that have tried both. Recommendations appreciated.

I would go with the 10/325's. 15mg is a very small dose for an extended-release pill, which should release the oxy over 12 hours. That is not much more than 1mg/hour.
With the 10s you are getting relief within 10-15 minutes. Even OP40s and OP80s can take over an hour to kick in and kill pain, based on personal experience and user reports.
