I have an orange-cap insulin needle, what should I do with it?

Sure, get rid of it if you think you're going to do something stupid such as IVing percocet or clonazepam tablets. If you think you have the self control not to do that, save the syringe for measuring purposes. I don't know about you, but I often work with solutions in order to dose accurately. I guess the average user doesn't do this..

You realize if you OD you wont be concious and able to inject Narcan into your veins right? And your one cheesy insulin syringe is measured by units for insulin, not enough volume for administration of narcan.

Why do you want to inject so bad? Is that a valid question?
 
If you want to play with needles i suggest you wait till you have some real drugs...

I have a couple of freinds who said the same thing.
And once they injected pills,they will never do it any other way.8o
So I really sugest you think hard about it, and not go there.
So I would have to agree with the others, and throw the needle away.

Naltrexone isn't normally used to reverse opiate OD's. If I remember correctly, it's affinity isn't as good as naloxone's and it's got a longer onset(even if IV'ed).

Having an antagonist on hand doesn't make IV'ing much safer. Sure, it could reverse an OD, but you have many other (roa) issues that come up when you pick up a needle.
 
I wonder why the possesion of simply 'one needle' is forcing you consider IV drug use. Needles are about the easiest thing in the world to obtain.

Now... you have a needle. Well... that one seems tough to me. Maybe we should make a poll or something. Maybe you should just inject stuff with it?

And that we can't help you with. You must have something to shoot. Shoot whatever you feel like, but please don't ask us what to shoot.

Seriously, if you just want to inject something for the heck of it and to play with needles shoot some saline or sterile water. But why would you want to do that? You are best off keeping it around for something that is worth shooting, or just disposing it alltogether because it's a slippery slope from there on.

even though it seems to be obvious, that is terrible advice.
But yeah, dope is to needle what pot is to bong what razor blade is to coke.

If he has never done opiates before i do not want him to inject the first time he uses.
I don't want anybody to start injecting unless there is no other way. Like a sky-high tollerance.

Using the needle is an important milestone in your opiate addiction. I surely won't forget mine.

Seconded, if you've never used the needle before, stop while you're ahead. I know that's not what you want to hear, but If I could lay my hands on you and have you experience what I'm going through right now (36 hours without heroin, and insane withdrawal)
you'd be straight for life.

dude you can buy "a perfect needle" at walmart, cvs or riteaid. all needles are perfect...they're made to inject drugs. OMFG these ones are perfect... every needle i've ever bought has an orange top on it.
