I think dhoPeless is just like every other opioid junkie and doesn't realize what they're body is doing until they are in need of a fix. Maybe it's just me but I yawn constantly while on dope, and at some very large levels (somedays welOver 200mg of oc, alsO more than once 24mg of bupe). I do not claim to be an opiate genius or anything but the only thing that the initial "theory" has accounted for is bowel movements which for some reason or another I feel has also been debunked. It is true that a lot of the mechanism discussed are staved during intense pain or fear(I feel the intense fear is actually a more accurate mechanism for staving off these mechanisms), but hey people shit themselves in fear all the time.
Also I find almost all opiates to be energizing for me, regardless Of how (iv,oral, intranassaly, etc.)or when I use them. This acctually why I use them, I work a very physically demanding job and opiates help me to get through a thirteen hour job of heavy lifting and kneeling/bending. If opiates made me lazy and sleepy I don't think I would have ever became so enamored with them. Only opiates that make me lazy are methadone and for some reason some brands of morphine.(also coincidentally they are what make me nauseous)
