not trtying to get high but the ppain is unbearable, is tha enough to get prescribed liquid hydrocodone? My main smpstom is the pain, i cant even cough that much anymore. Is this a symptom where my dr will give me that?

well a few years ago yeah, my gf was prescribed hydrocodone syrup for the same issue. I drank most of it, great buzz. Nowadays though, i doubt it. Maybe codeine syrup but tbh a good dose of dxm should set you straight. Your dr will likely agree.

I think you should try DXM or codeine linctus first before you dive into hydrocodone. Just simply because you might not need such a strong narcotic. Codeine probably would be the first recommendation if its really painful, not DXm.

The only way to know for sure is get an appointment to see your GP. There's a bad flu going around.
Hope they can see you tomorrow. If not, maybe can call something in to the pharmacy for you.

I think see a doctor yeah. They will probably give you codeine linctus/that purple one in the US first. If that doesn't work then yeah, they will give you tussionex. I suggest you try the codeine first as you may not need the stronger one.

im going to the doctor tomroow i kinda want hyrdrocodone instead of codeine because i hear it downst work aswell

Codeine is the staple in terms of anti-tissutive. It works extremely well if not the best at stopping a dry cough dead in its tracks. I have tolerance to opiates and still, whenever I have a cough, codeine or morphine kills the cough straight away. As codeine metabolizes into morphine I assume that's where it's anti coughing power comes from but I could be mistaken. I have no experience with hydrocodone so I can't comment, but really codeine linctus for me is the best.

the anti-biotics will treat the infection that is causing the cough, so yes it will help the pain over time. honestly if you're in such bad pain that you can't even cough i think you need to visit a hospital. that's really not a good sign. there are a lot of nasty viruses going around at the moment but this could be the sign of something more serious such as pnemonia or such. when you cough are you producing phlegm?

no im not coughing uo flem im just having a really painful coough, i try to hold it in but it keeps coming out..i meant to say its harder to cough now and it really hurts

i had bronchitis last year and they didn't give me shit for pain but codeine is OTC over here and i am a master CWExtractor. Definitely see a dr if you have a fever as well. I was sick for like 2 weeks and lost a job because of it. I always ask for tramadol samples and that usually works if they refuse to give you anything else.

^This.

Hydrocodone liquid is indicated for cough (as are many other drugs including codeine). So, if you have a cough your doctor may prescribe it to you. However, we're not doctors so there's way we could tell you one way or the other....and we don't discuss how to get drugs from doctors on this site as that is against the law.

I'm going to close this thread, PM me if you have any questions.
