I Have A Idea On Time Release home made Gel Capsules!

Do you mean absorbed as the product is already a liquid?
Quick dissolve tablets are equally as effective.
Shellac.
Get clean shellac with just ethanol/isopropyl thinners, and use it to make time released caps. I've done it before with elemi oil (waste of time/money btw), and it's used to enerically coat capsules so they pass through the stomach and dissolve in the higher ph lower digestive system.
Just cap your drugs in gelatin capsules, dip the bottom half and let it dry, put the top half on and dip that and let it dry. Bingo.

Few questions for you?
(1) Is it toxic in any way?
(2) I assume you mean you are using the ethanol/isopropyl to turn the elemi into a varnish?
(3) What kind of time delay can you expect with this method?
(4) Please can you be a bit more specific with the mixes and exact technique.
(5) I wonder if by re dipping if you could extend the time delay. I wonder what the max time delay is before you lose the cap.
This is very very intersting so theoretically with this info you could do exactly as the op suggests and provide a redose strategy in one single dose using two different sized caps.

As far as iso/etoh, its just the thinner for the shellac.
Not too sure about the time delay, as elemi was just a bunch of BS imho. The idea behind it was that by inhibiting certain enzymes using other essential oil's you could get mescaline like affects from elemi, because you know its looks so close to mescaline structurally lol. IMHO it was a scam, since the dude that pushed the theory HARD, had a shop where he sold all these oils, along with extracts of harmine/thh of questionable purity/legitimacy. I never got any affects, and it was the only time i tried it for time release with drugs. Wiki has some info on shellac about enteric coating though, so that seems legit.

I do remember not getting those nasty elemi oil burps the time i enterically coated the gelcaps though, so i assume it worked.

I see you were putting the essential oil in a time delayed cap using Shellac.

Did you buy the ethanol from a hardware store or lab supply?
I guess a good way to experiment would be to create an acid solution with a PH similiar to the stomach and chuck the cap in and see what happens.
Would be great if someone could try this with MDMA and see if it could delay the onset by what time.

The shellac came thinned with iso/etoh, so i can't really speak as to the purity/safety of it.
If i was going to try it again, i would'nt use hardware store shellac, but pure shellac resin and either clean msds denatured alcohol, or food grade ethanol like everclear.
