I have a 60 ml bottle of cough syrup. Help with dose and mix?

SWIN was given a bottle of codein/promethezeine mix today from his doctor. the bottle is 60 ML and the label reads 5 cc per teaspoon holds 9 mg of codeine and 3.6 mg of promethazine.

SWIM am wondering, as someone who's only really tried promethazine mix.. not codeine... he would like to know how much codeine is in this 9mg. if not mistaken.... there should be 109 mg's of codeine and 42.9 mg...

Is this enough.. or more than enough to reach the second - third plateau of the high. And also how would the complete experience be? How should swim feel etc? What would swim mix it with best? sprite? ice lemon tea? and how much would be a good ratio... like a 1.5 litre bottle of sprite or soda with the 60 ml ? is that good?

any advice would be much appreciated and any other facts that swim should know/ would be interesting to know about would be great.

this is the bottle SWIM was given. SWIM currently is in thailand so its a generic brand of syrup called Codyl Cough Syrup.

Please any help would be much appreciated.

codeine dosage varies quite widely, first time dosage to get down could be anywhere from 15mg-150mg

i would hit for 50mg (half of your bottle?) to be cautious, if it is drinkable straight it might be best just taking big sips and then following with a chaser of sprite/tea or whateva

you should start feeling relaxed, content with yourself and the world, eyes get a little droopy, voice sounds a little loopy, cigarettes taste very good
 
Whenever I have to drink syrup I chase with orange juice
Kills the taste, lucky for you codeine syrup usually tastes MUCH better than robo syrup
 
I refuse to believe that anyone can feel 15mg of codeine. The entire bottle contains 118mg, which I also wouldn't be able to feel. I think if you're going to get anything out of it, you're going to have to drink the lot.

i have friends who get high off 30mg codeine no joke, i need 500mg+ with no opiate tolerance because i dont metabolise codeine well, other people do though

dnt assume everyone else has the same physical chemistry make up as you

its always best to start low and work up with a new drug especially one like codeine
 
Hey guys, im a newbie on Bluelight :) well just wanna share, as swim says thailand it would be better if u try to get ephedrine 8mg tabs there. 16mg with the 60ml of the linctus will boost the euphoric effect. a guranteed of at least an hour on plateau 3
 
What dosage do you usually take? The one person above me is right about starting small first. I know a lot of people that would only need less than 20mg and feel it. If you're 2 or 3 days absent of an opiate in your system, just take a little bit, especially if you're opiate naïve and it sounds that you are, no offense. Just be careful man, don't do anything stupid. By the way, the acronym "swim" if I remember right, was never used on bluelight, it's annoying.
 
The linctus taste tho would be spicy sweet. i prefer to wash it down with Redbull tho, its sweet plus the taurine helps kick u up too
 
It sounds like there is a small codeine content in there. If you're after rec effects, you could spice it up a bit by adding some cw extract, or whatever else you can obtain. Our codeine linctus contains 500mg per bottle. Of course, my tolerance was sky high, so I'd add 200mg of solvent-extracted codeine phosphate, and 300mgs of tramadol. even for a person with high tolerance, I could make my "compound" last 2-3 days. After all, 60 mgs of active per teaspoon can go quite far, plus you're not downing whatever harmful shite they're putting into those cough syrups.

Sorry for the late reply, well i went to thailand last year for a short getaway with my family and yup i was scouting for high and low like you for a cough syrup booze. Well i went to their pharmacy and was given the same bottle that u had posted. u can buy 2 bottles otc like i did on my trip. what u can do is that u can ask the pharmacist for ephedrine 8mg tablets. its usually white and round tablets with DHA logo marked on its side. they will dispense it min ten tabs from my experience. ephedrine tabs with the codeine/promethazine syrup u have will give u a very hyperactive effect. like meth in a way only that its legal. try 2 tabs and just down the whole bottle(60ml) i assure u that it will kick in nice. after that u can also ask for nitrazepam bp(5mg) just write the name that ive given and show them. it comes in a 20 tabs per slab. This nitra tabs are benzos, and helps give u a downer effect. down bout 3 tabs after an hour on the syrup. its really nice. all three can be dispense otc in thailand. do try and update me ya

Why even throw the ephedrine in there, that makes no sense if he is just looking to get a downer buzz...
 
Christ, putting ephedrine in there will not make for pleasant effects. When I was on full agonists, I took some of those ephedrine diet pills, and had a terrible time. I couldn't even feel the opiates when combined with ephedrine.
 
Yeah, don't take the ephedrine. That will literally kill your opiate buzz and bring you into a mental place of anxiety and paranoia.
 
well, if u start at a low dosage, its fine, but leave it if u have anxiety disorder yup if taken more u will likely experience paranoia
 
I would think that the promethazine would override the effects of the codeine as you would have to take alot of that shit to get a codeine high if you had any tolerance. I think these rappers goin on and on about syrup are really just getting fucked up off the promethazine.

Also i have taken ephedrine with codeine and oxycodone before when i have had really bad flu's and couldn't afford to be sick. When i was dying of the flu and had to go to work or some shit i would take a wack of codeine or oxy with a anti-histamine like doxylamine along with some ephedrine for it's decongestant properties. I actually find ephedrine to be less jittery then pseudo ephedrine but i avoid both now like the plague. Ephedrine does not in anyway potentiate opiates.
 
im from Thailand and we drink this Codyl with 4 coke cans per bottle, can u plz suggest me which hospital to get those codyls ? i usually get it from blackmarket
