I have a 25mcg fent patch...

Now, I am a bit short on meds til my next visit with my dr which is coming up weds. Now I am scripted 15mg roxi every 4 hours and 30mg avinza daily. I am out of both, the avinza ended before my appointment. Should I try the fent patch for a day or two or something? How long after you take the patch off does it take for the medication to stop working? I don't want to fuck myself up, but I don't want to run out of meds either. Thoughts? Thanks.

I am not trying to get high on the patch.
 
i think you should be fine for wed if you put it on now, its pretty short acting if i remember, so just take it off before you go to the doctors
 
Be very careful with those patches, they're silent killers.
I would cut it into little squares and use it like that.
 
Even if you're using the patches are directed with a high tolerance will you have problems?
 
Someone I knew in another online forum just died a few days ago from using a Fent. patch. Be very, very careful. I would advise you to not use it at all. The dude was in his early twenties and hadn't even lived yet.
 
^^^but her, v666, tolerance is high enough to endure the dose she would be getting, so it should be safe to use.
Perhaps your friend's opiate tolerance was to low for the amout of fentynal he received, and btw, sorry to hear the news.

My mother, 89, and in a resthome, has pain issues with her legs. Up until October 2009 she was given hydrocodone 10/325 for the pain, but was switched straight to a 25 mcg patch. So far, so good.

Update guys, so far so good! I put it on last night a few hours after making this post.. Thanks. I feel perfectly fine.. no buzz nothing. It does help with the pain... No breathing issues or any other bs going on... I don't want a script of this but it is working out for right now... :)
 
i suspect you may have already used the patch by now.. but a safer way to administer them (if theyre not gel) is to cut strips of the patch and do buccal/subliq. and yea i believe i know of the man you talking about... sad that he went like this.. these patches are no joke... but i think he had it in for himself.. supposedly he died with 3 100mic matches on the inside thigh, right by the femoral artery.. if you ever do actually put a patch on to deal with pain, put them on where advised.. pectoral or right on your back/shoulder...

No, he was a very, very regular consumer of opiates and had a rather high tolerance. A lot of people just do not understand how incredibly strong fentanyl is. I would exercise extreme caution no matter how high your tolerance is if you absolutely think you have to use it.

People have died from smoking just a little bit of the gel in some of these patches. Obviously, people die from trying to make a solution to inject. People die just from having the patch on.

We think a big part of this friend's death had to do with the fact that he had left the patch right on top of a major artery.
 
I had some fent patches and was soaking them in alcohol(vodka) then adding water and evaporating down to get some alcohol out.
Next I was putting them in a nasal pump spray.
After careful experimentation I could handle 3-4 inhalations.
Note: I always have narcane?? handy, never had to though..
And yes fent is strong stuff, I never did a patch though on the skin, and I think it would have been good to, the abuse potential as nasal spray had me going though it so quickly.... coolest thing ever though, using it anywhere, anytime no suspicion.
 
what if you have been shooting herion for the last year and you can shoot up to 30 bags in a day that is what i was doing until i moved from NYC to des moines IA. Cant find any herion here which is good i guess. I now go to methodone clinic everyday and get 140 mg.
 
i would love to get some patches or just some herion been thinking of flying to nyc just for that reason alone but dont have enough money :(
