Opioids I have 3 Fentanyl patches (no gel) 75 mcg/hour...what to do?

2 of the 3 are dated march 2011---does that matter? the other expires in 2013. I have a high tolerace for opiates, went to detox 3 weeks ago. Been relatively clean, a few 10 mg percs, some lorazopam and soma's. So I got the patches from my uncle. How should I take them (btw, i dont shoot, so i wanna know if i should slap a whole patch on or cut it up?) I am seeing a sub presribing doc on thursday of next week, so this is reall my last time with all this other stuff. I am leaving what i loved for so long to HOPEFULLY get off all of the shit that has made my life shitty!
 
I guess not much goin on at BL on tuesday night, 1:40 a.m.

So I am gonna go headfirst, puting on half a patchand use heating pad for rapid results. If that doesnt work maybe i will put the other half on too. I dont wanna o.d. Anyone on here reading this PLEASE chime in as to if I am not doing this right
 
Okay, if you're going to do it, you're going to do it. Just keep a few things in mind:

Fentanyl is one of the least "pleasant" of the opioids. It will most likely make you nod once it takes effect, but it will probably not make you feel warm/fuzzy/euphoric. And once it makes you nod, make sure that patch is off your skin before you drift off...so you make sure you wake up once more.

Fentanyl is, of course, the most powerful prescribed opioid. The difference between enough to make you nod and enough to make you stop breathing is very, very little...and I have no way of knowing your tolerance based on what you wrote and the fact that you've been clean for some weeks.

I agree with what ActiqAnnie said,expect that fent won't give you the warm/euphoria thing. A lot of people say so,but there are more that says the opposite,the fent gives you a nice warm/euphoria feeling, but you have to be very careful because it's easy to OD.It has a very clean high,and that's the reason that a lot of people OD. And yes, other opiates might give you more euphoria,but a lot of people like the fent euphoria better. Be very careful and watch your breath and heart beating, if you see that it gets slow, throw the patches of your body. Remember it gets some hours to start feeling it, don't stick more than one, i said,if you have the 75mcg/h.(It depends by your tolerance, you don't say anything about it). Be safe.
