    Welcome Guest!

I hate the scary dreams I get 2 nights after every drop.

Yep I used to get the same thing sometimes VincentOne. Sometimes the dreams would be terrifying nightmares but sometimes they would be really intense outbursts of negative emotion. Aswell as the neurochemical aspects that everyone is talking about I reckon it could have something to do with the emotions that being under the influence of mdma allows you to experience and release. Deep down feelings that may not usually surface...

I also used to get that sleep paralysis type thing when I was a kid. Fucking terrifying. I've had it a couple of times as an adult and usually its when I have come down from a huge bender.

Got the same thing , always two nights after a MDMA bender. It did not happen every time though that I took pills. Sleep paralysis where I am in between a sleep and waking state was the usual symptom and vivid dreams
It would make sense that the cause was low seratonin so perhaps something that boosts the seratonin level would help ?

I used to always post load with 5htp but it didn't seem to have too much effect on whether I would have nightmares/weird dreams or not. I'm not convinced that fixing the neurochemical/emotional imbalance following an mdma binge is as simple as taking an amino acid supplement. I'm sure it doesn't hurt though.

If I overdo it with MDMA one night (5+ pills) I'll experience sleep paralysis for the next couple of days afterward.

Funny thing is, back when I was addicted to dope I would get sleep paralysis every single night if I used within a few hours of going to bed. Weird how two completely different drugs can produce that same effect, although I'm sure it has more to do how my body reacts to being under stress than it does with any specfic drug.

Sleep paralysis is no joke but it won't kill you either. The worst part about it, after you get used to the nightmarish effect anyway, is how annoying it is because it prevents you from being able to completely fall asleep. I got so used to having to deal with it back when I was shooting dope that I would just go to bed a couple hours earlier than normal, because I knew it would keep me awake for about that long :\

I have always had more vivid dreams for awhile after a roll. I also achieved my first lucid dream two days after a very strong roll. Its peculiar, but honestly I like it.

I always have incredibly vivid dreams, I have as long as I can remember, long before rolling. I actually have some fairly pleasant ones when I sleep after coming down. I sleep the whole night without waking up.
