You are Mine

I can set you ablaze and
snuff you out
My very breath controls your fate
You have no say
in my meddlesome manner
You haven't the words
to protest, my mate.
My vey existence is a
brand on your form
Your pathetic lifespan is
too short to care
Your lingered affect, a
prize in your eyes
Leaves me damaged and scarred
To my greatest despair.
You're naught without me, a tool without use
unless I go forth
and have my say,
When you outlive your worth
I'll snuff you out
Like the cigarette you are, now have a good day!
