I get my dog high, am i a bad person?

Not until your dog has a really bad doggy high trip and commits suicide.
That would make you a bad person.
 
If you have to hold the dog down and blow the smoke in its face your an asshole, but if the dog just sits there and keeps coming back its ok. My friends dog always come and sits with us when we smoke like he wants it.
 
And some bstards block their dog while blowing some smoke in their nose. Disgusting.
 
No and yes. I hated when I was around any of my buddies when they would get there pitbulls high. It pissed me off. It was just weed but that shit isn't really cool. Dogs are not humans they don't need weed just love.

a old friend used to force it on his pits. I hated it. I always left with a sad face.
 
It's the divide of:

If your Dog/Cat comes into the room whilst you and others are smoking, stays there for a while and seems to be rather happy, then you're not a bad person, the dog/cat's a stoner.

If you forcefully hold / coerce / place your dog/cat in the position of smoking some weed - without them having any "say" in the matter, then yes - you're a bad person and should not own an animal.
Infact it's almost as though you're not a bad person, but a bad child... a bad, bad, naughty child.
 
for sure, i respect everyone's views.

to clear some stuff up that some people might have a problem with, i dont hold him and and blow a cloud load on him, he knows what im doin when i bring out the weed, always trys to steal my bag cause of the smell haha, he sits down and totally seshes it up with me sometimes. hes a mix of two huge dogs so no pure blood here. but he seems to enjoy hanging out with me when im blazin, i know its hard to KNOW how a animal feels, but i spend almost all my time with my pupp and we both help each other out, i know when hes not happy or not. i know hes not "freaking the fuck out" when he barks at shit cause then he comes and tries to licks my face off.

i dont think im a bad person all in all. lots of people do it and i dont ever mean harm. makes him sleep and eat mostly. as for cats fuck those dumb things, my friend gave his cat come coca and that was freaking the fuck out, holy shit.

And what's wrong with that? In Jamaica, they always give their babies cannabis to shut them up or put them to sleep. 100 years ago, American mothers would give their babies cannabis, cocaine and heroin all the time (and ethanol but usually ethanol was a carrier for the cannabis or hard drugs).

i can kind of understand if your pet was coming to you and actually making an effort to get the smoke which you are exhaling- because some pets, more specifically cats- do in fact do this because some of them have found out on their own that they enjoy it. however, your dog does not have the CHOICE when you do this. not only that, how do you know he isn't freaking the hell out when he runs in circles and barks?

to me, this is the same thing as slipping someone something without them knowing.

Registered bestiality offenders aren't allowed to buy pets larger than a hamster. And even the hamster thing is probably a mistake for guys like this.
 
I blew a hit of crack to a pit once. Next thing I new he had me backed into a corner growling and shit. Fucker wouldn't let me go until I smoked the whole 8 ball with him.

You seem to be the troll here. He already said that his dog just sits and happily chills with him while he smoking. Obviously if you're forcing it on your dog that'd make you a bad person. If your dog is chilling, run through your smoke, etc, i don't see a problem with it.

I smoke weed everyday, and before my dog got stolen (yes, stolen by people who offered to pay $400 for him the previous day) he used to run through my smoke and literally come up to my face when i was cheefing.

Nah OP you're not a bad person. I got my cats trained to run to me wen they smell ganja burning. I built the "kitty time machine" (a box with a hole on top and a paper towel tube taped to the hole) they sit under it and wait and when i left the box and the smoke clears they get very pissed at me if i dont set it back down on top of them haha =D
 
no dude me and my dog get high all the time together..
shes probably a bigger stoner than i am lol
 
Such a tough question. I have had friends whose cat or dog will run up and try to be in smoke, or sit on someones lap when they are puffing bowls. Other animals seem to hate it. If an animal dislikes it and you do it, that is pretty mean.

If an animal seems to enjoy it, why would it be bad to let it be in the room, and occasionally blow smoke near it? I mean I have heard 99% of it is absorbed in the lungs, so the animals probably aren't gettin' stoned as hell from already inhaled smoke.

Although, on tour I've heard of people feeding tour dogs dose. So, so, so so sad. :(

Like many other aspects of modern culture, things have been going downhill for a while. At one point people realized that they didn't need a doctor's permission to give their family drugs.

That's not true at all though. The water insoluble cannabinoids in cannabis smoke aren't absorbed by the lungs especially well; whatever visible smoke you exhale after taking a hit probably has a pretty similar ratio of cannabinoids to volatile non-cannabinoids as it did when you inhaled it.
