I finally set a profile picture!

I've been a Bluelighter for a couple years but just today gave myself a picture. I don't think I ever introduced myself either, so now is as good a time as any.
When I first registered my account it was to discuss the profound impact that Methoxetamine had on my life. To this day, it is one of the primary topics of my discussions here. As such, I am an active contributor to the psychedelics forum. I also poke my head around the Neuroscience, Electronic Music and North America Regional forums. Anyone with questions about MXE, I'm a good person to ask!

A question though, how can I get my profile picture to appear next to my name in forum posts? I'm still not seeing it.

As you've been here a few years there's no need for me to welcome you here - especially as I'm newer than you hahaha ner ner (just kidding :) )

Nice to see your introduction - and instead of welcoming you, I'm going to say "Good to 'meet' you instead" and hope that you're getting what you need out of Bluelight. I know that I certainly am - 'tis an ace, friendly, supportive site, full of useful knowledge, companionship and support. Best forum on the planet!

Ah I only just noticed that he's done that when you pointed it out.
'tis an easy mistake to make so please don't worry. They do sound one an the same and Greenlighters cannot have a profile picture until they are Bluelight, which of course you are, but can have avatars pretty much from the minute they join.
Please feel free to ask for help if you struggle with it.

Cheers Eveleivibe, wow you are a very active contributor! You have an order of magnitude more posts than I and have only been here less than a year! What parts of the forums do you frequent?
 
The star tetrahedron, also known as the merkabah, has always been a powerful visualization for me in psychedelic and meditative states, and it has a rich history in connection to mysticism. Information about this sacred symbol can be found here. It is also directly connected to my user name which is an amalgam of 'vortex' and 'technology'. The Merkabah is a fundamental structure of my 'Vortex Technology'.

From the link above: "Merkabah, also spelled Merkaba, is the divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. "Mer" means Light. "Ka" means Spirit. "Ba" means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another."

Hiya, Please call me Evey!
I tend to go to EADD; which is very supportive, full of banter and good sense of humour as well as feels very community minded; the recovery forums and the suboxone megathread to name a few. I tend not to reside in one sub-forum (apart from EADD) but many. I tend to just subscribe to the threads that are of interest to me and either wait for my E-mail notifications - or look quick links; subscribed threads.
I'm not really bothered about post counts and that sort of thing. it's the quality of posts that matter, not how many of them we can produce haha!
But yea anything that's of interest or recovery-related I'll tend to subscribe to it.

Other Drugs (OD) has a great thread that lists all their [URL="http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/637311-Mega-megathread-List-of-Megathreads-(Read-before-making-new-thread) Megathreads [/URL] . I missed it and PMd Mr.scagnattie, asking if they had a directory of links so I could give to the newbies - and it turned out they already had one stickied at the top (well duh at me lol)
