i finally bought acid!

today i bought my first hit of acid. i got a few questions tho before i take it.ill be taking it next week sometime when im home by myself. its being stored in a folded piece of paper inside of my pant's pocket in my closet.

1.when i bought it i stored it in a folded piece of paper. will the acid be absorbed unto that paper?

2.how will my communication skills be? its only gonna be 1 hit. like will it sound like im on something besides weed or alcohol?

3.how intense will it be? like the first time i tried weed it was pretty intense cuz i had never been in an altered state of mind b4. will it be something like that?
 
1. a tiny bit
2. it will sound like you are maybe drunk, but not showing normal signs of being drunk.. clearly high - authority people like parents will know you are sky high after talking with you for a few minutes..
3. way more intense than any amount of weed
 
Just take it when you dont have to deal with authority figures and see how it affects you. Im assuming you've never had any other psychedelics?

Also disreguard some of the jackassery in this thread.
 
I aint had no jackassery in THIS thread lulz. Yeah..when i 1st dropped acid my parents and everyone didnt go to sleep for baout 3-4 hours after putting the blotters under my tongue, adn that was a MAJOR buzzkill.
 
yes, this will be my first psychedelic. my bro's cool with me smoking and drinking but if he knew it was something else he'd be all mad n shit like "dont take other drugs wtf r u doin". thats why i dont care if it makes me appear drunk or high from marijuana. so wuld it be wise to take it if hes home?
 
hmm. i mean if someone knows what to look for, its obvious that youd be on drugs. Well period, it would be obvious youre on drugs, but he probably wouldnt necessarily know youre tripping. Honestly, he just sounds like a hypocrite, who cares if hes mad. Make your own decisions, the idea that oen drug is allright to use, but a drug that has no adverse long term physical side effects is not is ridiculousness. You dont need his approval with regards to as to what you put into your own body.
 
I wouldnt. Your pupils will be huge and the psychedelic experience is entirely different from the marijuana/alcohol experience. Just wait until the time is right and it will be much more pleasurable without the anxiety that comes with fighting the drug to appear sober.

Sound like you are drunk and clearly high? LOL. I've talked to several cops/campus security while rolling, tripping, and candyflipping. Look at it this way. Say you go into a sporting goods store, pick up a canoe and walk out with it. What are the chances someone will stop you? Unlikely, if they do happen to question you, all you have to do is tell them you already bought it and are picking it up. It's something so obvious, it makes it coy.
 
Now, back on track:
1) I've left hits wrapped in notebook paper for several months with no noticeable drop in potency (though the paper was wrapped in tinfoil, in a ziplock bag, in a coat, in my closet).
2) I certainly wouldn't try to talk to the cops or your parents or any other authority figures, but one hit shouldn't get you to the point where language begins to dissolve into meaningless noise (unless it's an exceptionally strong hit by today's standards). Your linear reasoning skills will certainly be off, so it'll probably be hard to maintain a train of thought, but if you're with friends who're cool with your activities you'll be fine to talk to them.
3) It will be much stronger and much different from cannabis in any amount and any form of ingestion. Personally, I found one hit (of rather strong LSD) to be underwhelming (though I already had much experience with mushrooms and higher doses of LSD). However, as it'll be an introduction to psychedelics for you, I'd say one hit will give you a manageable first glance into what's waiting behind the curtain (though don't expect more than a quick peek).

Psychedelics have diverse and difficult-to-communicate effects. To get an idea of what you're in for, all I can recommend is that you read as much as you can from Erowid's Experience Vault. Read at least two or three to get a basic idea.
 
As many have said, try to avoid situations which might endanger you. Try to be in a peaceful setting and mood.

1 blotter can be anything from bunk to barely threshold to a real solid trip. Do you have any information about its potency?
 
-Your mind is going to be flipped upside-down, inside-out, and sideways.
-It's a silly adventure that you can't quite comprehend until you try it.
-Your emotions will be blended and served to you with bright colors and patterns.
-You will think you discovered some great new theory and try to explain it to everyone around you.
-There may be times of absolute joy, but there can also be times of horrific fear.
-You become more in touch with yourself and may learn to appreciate many new things.

today i asked the guy i bought it from if it was good. he of course said yea, cuz cmon, why wuld he say it was bad haha. also, he wants me to take it soon. cuz he said it will "evaportate":? and loose some of its potency if i wait. is this true?
 
Wes, how well do you know the person who sold it?

im just saying as if it turns out to be good, and he can get it often,
then i suspect you'll get to know him pretty well this summer :)

ya - but, i can assume you have tripped numerous times - this is the guy's first trip.. he will think his parents are trying to mail him to Iran then he'll put them outside with the cat and lock the doors.. ;)
i always had to stay away from my parents because i get wild grins and hysterical laughter.. on a strong dose i will have trouble forming sentences..

Be somewhat realistic, not everyone is able to hide effects of things as well as you seem to be able to.

I don't recommend putting yourself in the position of being able to run into anyone who would have a problem with you tripping e.g. parents. This will just lead to severe paranoia and a disastrous trip.

In my experience, if you drop at say 10AM, by 8PM you can act relatively sober. Your mind will be a bit funny and you might act slightly odd but otherwise you will seem sober.

For storage as long as it's only for a few days that's fine.

Also it will be most likely quite intense, my first trip was more intense than some of my other experiences despite it being a significantly smaller amount of LSD. But it wont be overwhelming, as long as you remember that it is only a drug and that despite it's long lasting duration it does wear off, you will be fine.

Your first trip will most likely be an enjoyable one, I advise not planning anything except for a few minor things, have music at hand and see where it takes you.

Parents are another story for me. If I'm tripping, I would avoid my parents completely. If I saw them, I would look at them once, and immediately turn around and walk away for a while. On my first trip, I came in contact with a lot of people who have never tripped before. They knew something was up, sometimes. I was acting weird, but if I tried, they had no idea. They might have thought I was high, but I didn't talk differently. Got my hair straightened on my first trip. My hair was extra soft and warm, but the girl made me wet my hair :( I looked like murdoc from the gorillaz, kinda.
 
well ive made up my mind and just decided to trip when my bros home. he jsut got outta college and hes home like 24/7 cuz he doesnt have a job right now, so i dont no the next time that ill get the house to myself. ill just have to always be in a diff room than him. each room available to me will have access to music and tv so im not worried. the only thing that i have to worry about is if he comes like bothering me while im chilling lol. that might be a temporary buzz kill or sumthin haha. i can also leave the house anytime i want. so monday or tuesday will be the big day. i just cant stand the anxiousness anymore lol. i just want my first time to be as perfect as possible.
