i feel like i have made this post a million times before

generally when ever i leave seattle, i post about what i like about it here. come january, it will be two years since i moved out. the thing that keeps me coming back here is the group of friends of i have. they are all rather introverted and i don't feel weird sitting around the apartment while we all play with our computers. maybe its weird that my friends here bring computers when they come to socialize?

last weekend, i was hanging out with some more extroverted people. the one guy drove me nuts because he would not shut up. he was busy chatting and asking a zillion questions. i find this slightly disconcerting but i think it highlights the different dynamics. our mutual friend, and his other friends, were also rather chatty.

i am not really sure where this post is going. i just figured i should post something cause i haven't made any public posts recently.

Heh, you've got me beat. Other than announcements, I don't think that I've posted in my blog proper for two or three years. Boo-urns.

Overly extroverted people are a bit annoying though, aren't they? My coworker is one of those sorts who has a really hard time breathing if he's not talking. Never in my life have I heard someone talk so much yet say so little. I, for one, try to aim for the opposite. ;)

My Dad, can't keep a single a single thought to himself, its irritating, good thing im introverted lol =D

That's incorrect, Dave. You made an excellent and very personal entry not too long ago that I still haven't managed to read in its entirety (I think I need to read the last part yet)

Oh shiii... you're right. Totally forgot about that. Did it over three days, because it was taking too much out of me. I'm an old fart now, can't blog like I used to ;)

Well all right then, I guess I just save up my blogging mojo for one big burst every couple of years then. :)

i try to explain this to my husband and he doesn't really understand. he thinks visiting seattle is boring because all we do is sit around and watch movies, go to trivia nights or play board games. but i think it is really fun :)

Extroverts are one of the reasons I ran for the hills... I would cringe with a kind of pain whenever I was subjected to them for too long.

i don't mind be social as long as it is on my terms. i thoroughly enjoy pub trivia which generally means interacting with all sorts of people but i think i find it enjoyable because there is a purpose to the mindless chatter. same thing with going to a game store to play board games, people still chat and whatnot, but there is something else to do besides just converse.
