I've been reading bluelight on & off over 5 years, but never registered for an account. I can usually find the answers I'm looking for when I come here, but I can't find a specific answer this time, so I plan to ask as soon as I figure out where to post my question. I know admins call posters out for posting a new thread on something that's been discussed, so I want to make sure I'm posting at the correct place. Also, I can only access this site on my mobile device, instead of a PC, due to not having home internet, and I can't see the "search" function from my phone. Anyway, nice to meet you all. My DOC is opiates. More specifically, I've been on pills 5 years. I've never tried H. 5 years ago I kicked a 160 mg oxy habit down to 30-40mgs a day for the last 4.5 years, and now methadone 30-40mg the last 6 months. I have zero support because no one knows. I'm not under the care of a doctor and haven't been. My cat has a small stockpile of subs I plan to use to get off the dones, and now my body refuses to go into withdraw. I stopped dosing on Dec 21, thinking I'd take the first sub Christmas Eve night or Christmas morning but I'm still not scoring high enough on the COWS chart to safety start on suboxone. Except for extreme cravings, the other hell that comes from WD is oddly missing, making me afraid to start with 2-4mg sub. Well, I guess I asked my question here in my intro. If it needs to be moved, please point me in the right direction. I'm really thankful for everyone here over the years. I'm sure someone has saved my ass on more than one occasion without you even realizing it.

Congrats on making a decision to switch over to subs. Yes, I would wait if you are switching from methadone. You seem to understand this as you say it's " oddly missing. " Perhaps enough time hasn't passed yet?
