Opioids i dont know what i found in my parents room

i found a black, slightly red, tar substance in my moms drawer in a pill bottle, so obvisouly some kind of drug, i tested it on my marquis kit and it didnt work, i guess its impure, is it heroin? is there anyway to tell?

i am not using a alias, i am seriously worried about my mom :(
 
I know we don't do substance ids, even if we did that could be a million things, some legal and proper to have, some not. Either way my guess is the best way to deal with it would be to ask her about it directl or get it tested.
 
Maybe post a picture of it? Or ask her about it, since you are worried about her?

It could be make up or any number of things based on how you described it.
