I come bearing scars

[realm]

hopefully passionate bliss will be ours
resting nightly only to see terror
dreams haunt me but test my mind
insight was a gift i didnt want
love was all i sought----shattered
openly move freely without fear
im released into a stream of feelings
every rock and every waterfall is me
hoping to someday realize destiny
but it sat and stared me in the eye
i stared back but saw a different reality
lost without a light is as good as dead
only willingly do i bear these trials
its a part of me i couldnt hide
punishment is brought upon those who think
my box is open flowing with thought
only to be downcast by lack of knowledge
i came forward bearing scars
knowing where ive been and where i go
the only thought that fulfills my life


I haven't posted any poetry in a while, or much of anything really so here's something new for anyone who reads my poems.
