i remember when I was young
i thought i would change the world
then i grew up
i saw that i don't matter
one soul in a sea of billions
then one nite my eyes opened
i was alive
i was connected to every being
through some force
but now it has changed again
i am so alone
and the sea i am slowing drowning in
is made bigger with the tears
i cry from my soul
to hide from everyone
because they don't understand
and i scream with pain silently
because i don't even understand
if i could go back maybe i could change
maybe they would know my pain

when the only ones i can share with
