Hello everyone,
i have being using Heroin for 2 and a half years now and ive been IVing it for half that time. every time i shoot up i throw up and stay with severe nausea for hours later. ive tried in the course of 2yrs countless batches, shooting different amounts, using more/less water, different needles, cotton, cooking it differently. Everything! and i doesnt help. everyone i know who uses has never had this problem. has anyone ever heard of something like this? please help..
 
While I have no experience with Heroin at all. I used to always throw up when I have dillaudid IV'd. Now I take zistrail (sp?) and it doesn't happen anymore. I would think if you are allergic to it you would have other symptoms besides nausea? Idk but then like I said.. I don't know much about that drug. I hope it gets better for you one way or another.
 
i thought i was allergic also but i only throw up, and allergic reaction especially me shooting the allergen into my blood stream would be fatal. ive never done any other type of opiates or pure morphine. the first time i did heroin i snorted it and i was vomiting with in the first minute.
 
I have family members who are lactose intolerant and one vomits frequently when he consumes dairy.

IME with substances if I get unpleasant autonomic reactions (vomiting, sweating, nausea, migraine, etc) persistently, ESPECIALLY if it doesn't matter how much or how little it is... I stay away from it. Most likely it is your body's allergic reaction..and you're pretty lucky your reaction to heroine was only that mild. So with addiction coupled with repeated with habitual vomiting, it wouldn't even be worth the high for me. I can't speak from personal experience with heroine like gsx2ts4u.X

Also, this may be a bit of a far stretch, but you may want to look to encephalopathy.. sometimes it has to do with developed aversions (like nausea whenever someone drinks or eats a certain food).X
 
Hey OP,

Don't cook your shots, filter with a micron filter, and take an antihistamine to minimize the immune response. Other than that try taking less and see if it does you as good without the nausea.

You've been doing heroin for over 2 years & you get the same side effects every time you use. Um....why are you still using? I have tried things before & if my body doesnt agree to it, I never try it again.

How are you even enjoying heroin if you gotta go threw these side effects? If I were you, I would have quit a long time ago.
 
Zofran (Ondansetron) is administered to patients that are receiving IV opiates in the hospital. If you are able to find, I would try it.

What happens if you sniff the heroin?

If you have been throwing up over the course of 2 years from IV heroin dose, then you should really look into quitting. Along with the possible dangers that are causing the vomiting, frequent vomiting causes problems of its own.
 
Why continue using if all it does is make you sick? Are you physically dependent upon the substance, addicted, or what?

To be honest with you, I don't think that this is too, too unusual or uncommon to experience the nausea/vomiting. It sounds to me like this might occur more frequently with you than with others, and you could be more sensitive to the substance, but even still, I've definitely known people to throw up sometimes immediately, even, after taking their shot.

Have you experimented with any pharmaceutical opiates? Oxycodone? Hydrocodone? Oxymorphone? Do you experience the same nausea/vomiting when you take any of these substances? Heroin might be the one that, for whatever reason, gives you the most trouble. I rarely ever feel nauseous, and I never vomit, be it oxymorphone, heroin, whatever... but my girlfriend, for example, has trouble with oxymorphone.

I would definitely recommend trying the intranasal ROA. See what that does for you...
 
Might just be too strong. For me, large amounts of potent opiates via a direct route like IV is just too much. Opiates trigger the 'vomit center' of the brain and also cause a nasty histamine reaction in some peeps. Try taking a Claritin D 30-45 mins before dosing next time and see if that helps. (Be careful with sedating antihistamines, as they can make you nod off into death).

Take zofran or phenegrin? Some people puke, I get sick quite often from using. It just happens to some of us. Maybe you are one of those people that don't feel like you are high until you puke?
 
Everyone's body reacts differently. There might be an underlying reason for this, but it might just be your body's natural reaction to those chemicals entering your blood-stream directly.
 
I am a heroin addict for over 11years now and I have never heard of someone being ill like you especially after 2 years of usage. Something obviously isn't right here so I would advise either trying to smoke it instead and see if that's any better,if it isn't perhaps you may have some underlying medical problem that needs identifying.

I've been at it pretty hard for years, puked all over the place from some opana today. It happens more than you might think :(
 
av known alot of people to be really sick when they use but its always at the start of the addiction,av used h for years but in the last 2 years when a use am always sick the next day a call it my hangover lol my body seems to react to it.
l think its my body telling me its defo had enough and reacts when a put the shit in to my self so now a maybe use once a week and am looking at cutting it out all together its not worth how it makes me feel the next day,l think your body is the same and it reacts so you should maybe cut it out if its maken you sick aswell xx
 
I took a antihistamine before i shot and i didnt get sick. :)
Someone asked what happens if i snort it? the eact same reaction. the first time i did heroin i snorted it and passed out. i currently dont have a habit but in the past i have and always the same reaction. I ve never done any other opiates other than heroin so i dont know what my bodies reaction would be to them.
 
It could be one of two things.. your dose is two high (but youve been using for 2 years?)

Or a bad cut

Or just a cut your body disagrees with

so three.
 
i puked everytime i shot,puked like a thousand times, for the first year of my junk career. once i got used to it and stopped pukin' my habit settled in didnt leave. an x-girlfriend of mine would hurl after every coke shot without fail.
