i can't pee while being watched

^ There's your problem: You don't think. It doesn't hurt to ask, does it? "Hey, probation office, sir, could I start peeing alone then holler when I'm ready for you?" What's the worse they'll say? "No"?

Exactly. I always turned in such a way that they would see my dick in the cup. If they still give you a hard time, tell them that you will pull on it to prove it's your dick and not one of those wizzinator things.

I have the same problem. I found that reading something allows me to go whether it be a magazine a label or writing on the wall above the urinal. I think its just putting my mind on something besides pissing.

my drug test is now 22 days away and i don't I've learned anything from this that will help me in that time frame....
i guess ill just continue holding it in for 28 hours in extreme pain so i can push out just enough to pass it :/
So, how'd the piss test go, OP? What did you end up doing? Don't leave us hangin'. ;)

The medical term for shy bladder is paruresis. http://www.paruresis.org/ <<<The website seems to have a lot of info but I only perused the front page. I had only a slightly shy bladder and boot camp got me over it entirely a long time ago.

I let the people at my clinic know so they just let me flush the toilet as much as I wanted, go into the stall with the door open, and run the water whenever I had a test. As time went on (I only get tested once a month now) my councilor would just make sure my sample jar was labeled right and he would duck out of the bathroom for a few minutes.

My councilor is by far one of the coolest motherfuckers around.

I also have this problem, but am overcoming it. I try to avoid public restrooms anyway, but if I cannot, they still have to be unoccupied and very clean or I will just hold it. I used to be very strict about where I would go (only in my own home or in the woods), but it got me into a lot of problems. I cannot explain how I have improved it, but all I can say is that it has been a slow, gradual process.
