life
I take it for granted
I am beautiful
or so my mother tells me
and sometimes
I actually believe her.
I have morals
values
rules by which I live my life
I have hope
in what, I'm not so sure
but it's there
somewhere
I have second chances
I am grateful
forgiven
blessed
in debt
I make mistakes
bad judgements
I have bad days
but then again
I have good days too.
I live and I learn
and I am glad
for the gift of life
which has been given to me.
I learn to appreciate
the little things
in life
and I know
that
I
am alive.
