Kittens are cool.

Hey Mel, my plans to start UNI next year kind of conflict with my desire to move to Melbourne but I am pretty damn sure I'm down for an extended weekend in January and you'd better be around for more than a few hours this time :)

SUPRISE !

OR ILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!

Ps: Bring Jibs !!!!!!

My picture was in a very well known womens magazine this month. It is a shocking picture. REALLY bad. Anyway, I rang my Nan tonight and she says "I saw the picture of you today in the magazine............what a shame!!".

Burned by my Nan. Now I know just how bad it really is!! Still made me laugh though.

I was in an ad for Telstra - we do a lot of advertorial campaigns in house (I work at ACP) and one of the art girls asked if I would mind being in it. Mistake! My friend who was at the shoot reckons they just picked the worst photo ever of me, but I think I must not be photogenic. Nevermind...no one knows about it.

^ Hey, didn't we make some sort of house pact (aka you got outvoted) to put that photo on the fridge?! Maybe I'll have to actually purchase my own copy and put it on your birthday card next year. (I still owe you for my bog-rat one.) =D

I was in a magazine twice and all the pictures look terrible. I think it's like hearing your voice for the first time, it always sounds wtf.

Hehe I know how you feel Leecie! My dad is friends with a couple who own a gym, when i was 15, they designed some super-duper exercise machine and let my dad use it for a month and then they were promoting it on some lame morning show "In Brisbane Today". My dad had to appear and talk about how super-duper it was.

The girl who was supposed to demonstrate the machine on the show got sick, so dad volunteered ME. I actually didn't have a choice, dad said he'd ground me if i didn't do it.

So I did it, but thought it would be ok, because it's on in the morning and all of my friends would be at school - Ba Boow. It was school holidays. :| They gave me THE DODGIEST "excercise wear" (bike pants and a leotard with tube socks and sneakers... then the woman looking after the machine set the weights too high, so i started shaking and going red when trying to lift them. Great.

That was on the Tuesday, and I went to a school party on the Saturday, and the first thing a guy says to me when i arrive was "HEY! You were on In Brisbane Today using an excercise machine!" It seems that everyone i know happened to be watching shitty morning TV on that particular day.

I didn't live it down.

I have a nephew! Darcy, born about 8:30 this morning - after a 2 hour labour!

Can't wait to go visit in Oct and meet him, and see my niece again!

Awesome Kryal :D

If you only wear them on the court they should stay pretty crisp for a while. IE put them on and take them off when you're on the court...

Smile: All I will say is; Channel V on LCD's on the Exercise Bikes =D

joannie - darcy! what a great name!

And Klue, RE my shoes (or should i say my babies) will hopefully stay in pristine condition, i wont walk in wet or in grass in them, only from my car to the stadium (concrete) and back in them. But playing 4-5 games a week im not sure how long they will hold up :)

Well done Joannie :) I just spend a few days with my 12 months old nephew. He is gorgeous... When I hold him he rests his head on my shoulder. So awesome :D

Kryal: Sounds like you know what you're doing :) I would love to get some more Nikes, but my foot is quite wide. They dont make Nikes with width sizes any more. I have had heaps of pairs of Nike, mainly when I was a teenager. Have to get NB these days, they are the widest. I wish they made wide Jordans :(

That funny i have the opposite problem, i have super narrow feet and i struggle to find shoes that i dont have to keep tightening the laces halfway through a game!
Have you tried "AND 1" 's? i just had a pair of them and they were super wide! not made to last though.....

My smile today - i only have 7 more shows to do until the end of the footy season, then i can have a rest! yay!

oh also these arrived today:
attiva_v8_hf.jpg

they are the most comfortable mother fucking ski boots ever.
i never thought that ski boots could be comfortable.
Gonna take em for a test drive at Mt Buller on monday :)

(Who thought shoes that werent high heels could make a girl so happy!!)

Ooh AND 1... I have seen them before they look pretty cool. I checked their website and they are in Athletes Foot. Cheers :)
The skater style ones are cool!

Snowboarding is the way to go =D.

Haha nah, nice boots. I was a skier for 15 years before converting, its good fun. I was at Buller 2 days ago, bit of a white out but the snow was the best ive seen at Buller for at least 10 years.

Nope but they attach to these:
