In my "Greenlight" opinion excessive anything is probably associated with some form of addiction. My partner has this problem. I am sympathetic as do to my own inability to have sex I understand he needs release. However I do find that when we were having relations regularly, up to 5 times a day he still found it necessary to masturbate several times a day. I think it's an addiction just like drugs or booze or gambling. Just my opinion. Doesn't cause any harm, so I would address more serious issues that might be lurking and cause you to maturbate as a release. Good Luck!
