Heroin I am morphine MS-CONTIN user, never tried heroin, what will my first feeling be w/it

I was once a daily user of morphine (approx 100mg or morphine such as one MS-Contin).

I might be buying a gram or ball of H soon and I am a weekend user (have to study during the week) which keeps me from going back to old days of daily use. Which I cannot afford to happen or I will drop out.

Anyway I was hoping to ask what my first shot of H would be like compared to Morphine. I suppose it will be half a point give or take my first dose, due to heroin being about double the strength.

Morphine just seems to make me itchy all over and comes up within a few minutes. Anyone wanna explain how I will go? Is it better to just buy MS-contin in australia or H. Of course I will be booting it, which somehow I manage to keep to weekend use.

I agree what scag said. And it's much cheaper, unless you have a script to morphine. I have never done morphine, but I bet heroin has a stronger rush aswell. I get pins and needles in my feet and waves of euphoric warmth. Morphine is the closest opiate to heroin as heroin turns into morphine in the body. The high will be the same probably , and he rush will hit harder and Faster. Also the high will be stronger.

Good luck trying to be a weekend user. It is very hard to control heroin abuse.

PLEASE do a test shot before you do a fat slam. Many people overdose because the strength varies from dealer to dealer and week to week , sometimes daily.
Remember you can always do more but never less

Yeah careful trying to do dose conversions. You may know(kind of....) how dosage strengths will compare, but you'll never extract all the morphine from an ER tablet unless you're really lucky, and who knows how strong the heroin you have is...

if you have a tolerance I would say the half point is good starting point. as they say, you can always do more later.

all I can say as a comparison though is the rush is 10x better with dope. also less pins and needles feeling than morphine.

Although I agree to be very careful trying H, to say H and morphine are like night and day is simply an exaggeration. I mean, diamorphine has a MUCH faster onset, and a more intense euphoric rush, but the actual high is the same, especially if you we're (properly) injecting large shots of morphine(proper as in breaking them down right, using 3ml syringes since they are MSContin, etc...

I feel the high is the same once you get there, but the come up is different. Morphine is like getting hit in the face with a heavy pillow. H is like taking that pillow and wrapping it around a baseball bat. Or I guess a cricket bat since you're in Oz.

Heroin crosses the Blood Brain Barrier much faster than morphine. That's what differentiates the two, as well as the increased potency of course, as once heroin is in your system, it gets converted to morphine anyway.

Hmm. Perhaps we're arguing apples and oranges. Most of the heroin I've shot is black tar, which is really high in 6-MAM and a bunch of other shit. But I used to bang a lot of morphine as well(I had the 15mg IR pills in a large script) and to me the experience is quite different!

Heroin is not even that good. I had been sober for 80 days and injected heroin and I was kind of disappointed. And this was high quality powder. I got high, but it was nothing that I was expecting. Screw giving my life up for opiates. Opiates are lame anyways, id rather just smoke some weed then inject heroin and be homeless
