Yes i started using DXM kinda heavily and i just starts experiencing withdrawals, im going to beat it cold turkey i just need some help how to get past the withdrawals i was using amphetamines for 8 years and beat it cold turkey i dont have a problem, its just this certain withdrawal im feelings, its like a shock-wave in my chest.

Depending on how much you've been using I would suggest a taper. Have you been using daily? If not, how often? What was your usual dose? What source (product) were you using?

Withdrawal from NMDA antagonists is actually mostly psychological.

DXM however is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) though, and those should be titrated downwards otherwise you'll get w/d.

The problem with tapering using other SSRI/SNRIs is that most "commercial" SxRI drugs are designed to have long half lives, for "once a day dosing", so it turns into a "detoxing off Dilaudid with methadone" type of situation.

Realistically, titrating down with DXM is probably the nicest option, but if you knew what you were doing you could use a pharma SNRI. Shorter half-lives are probably better.

Venlafaxine: 4.9 ± 2.4 h (parent compound); 10.3 ± 4.3 h (active metabolite)
Desvenlafaxine: 10.3 ± 4.3 h
Duloxetine: 12.1h
Milnacipran: 8h
Sibutramine: approx. 1 hour, M1: 14 hours M2: 16 hours

DXM: 1.4-3.9h

Wtf, I didn't know that dxm was an snri! I'm on effexor.. and this just seems weird to me now, because i've taken dxm before and it really fucked me up big time...
