So I’ve been on fentanyl for the last three years. About a year ago I started to want to get clean and I started on methadone. Here I am a year later and I’m still on methadone and still doing just as much fent as I was before. My point is I’m spending a lot of money. A piece of me at this point wants to let the methadone go because I’m obviously not gonna quit fent. If I quit cold Turkey on the methadone would the fentanyl, be enough where I wouldn’t feel any withdrawals. Also I take about 80 mg of methadone, I show up to the clinic about 4 to 5 times a week.

You made it harder by using fent.
Quit, by yorself having rule to take 25% of fent less every three days. No slow taper, do it I 12 days. At some point discomfort is likely to appear but methadone is great for u in potency, duration. It will keep possible wd symptoms not going to the extreme.
Be careful using sedatives for comfort - use them after fentanyl is no longer your business, it's gone. U have methadone and is any wd related diascomfoft apperas

For nausea and sedation = promethazine
For anxiolityc sedation = benzos of your choice and dose dependa on your tolerance
For diarrhea = liperamide
For depression = try natural ways, movement of your body, lavender extract...because except tramal which is not suitable in this situation there is not instantly acting antidepressant awailable. Maybe mirtazapine at evenings after a few days.
