Hyrdromorphcontin -- Painful administration

Hey everyone,

I have had experience with the 24mg hyrdromorphcontin capsules before but recently I ran into a painful experience.

As in the past, I used a mortar and pestle to crush the beads (I heard they are industrial diamond strength so I broke a sweat grinding the beads). I then used a knife to scrape the excess hydro that got lodged into the pestle. Then I snorted a decent line probably around 2-3 mgs, which was followed by an intense burning pain that lasted a half hour or so.

I have not noticed this before so I crushed them even finer, but still the same painful experience, although I could tell it was hydro because I know the colour once its broken up.

After a couple days of doing lines, the next day I had bloody mucus when I blew my nose. This was a about a week ago and only now does my nose feel normal again.

Do you think someone might have tampered with these caps or is there some other formula I'm not aware of because I don't want to have to go through that again.

I don't have experience with those, only hydromorphone IR, and I have never, ever, had any discomfort or bleeding from insufflating those. Has to be something in the pills, or perhaps manual abrasion from the fragmented outer part of the pill, which you said was diamond hard.
 
I've never had the 24's nor have i ever snorted them as i always IV them but i am pretty sure that the formula for the pills have not changed. I get the 18mg ones when i can get them and their is nothing different about them. Are you sure someone didn't fuck you over by emptying out some of the beads and putting in beads from a different pill? I have seen that done with capsules like Kadians, M-eslons and hydromorph contins. That's the shitty thing about buying capsules is that you can get ripped off like that and if you are a IV drug user it could kill you. Thankfully i don't have to worry about that.

Or perhaps you have just snorted too much shit and fucked up your nose? Even the name brand 4mg dilaudid pills (they where my opiate pill of choice for years) began to take a real toll on my nose after awile and i blame atleast some of my sinus troubles on all the shit i put up my nose over the years.

I checked the capsule and it looked the same as the ones I got before. Just white beads of different sizes, unless there is something that looks very similar to that. When crushed a dark grey powder emerged. So I don't think that's the issue. I rarely snort things and I don't remember this happening with the first 3 caps I bought.

But fuck snorting that crap again, the pain endured is just not worth it and I think I may of caused some damage to my sinuses, guess I'm just gonna have to parachute these babies from now on. :(
 
They're probably more effective taken orally anyways since that's how they're designed to be taken.
 
Interesting. I've been doing drugs for 20 years, many MANY many drugs have flown up my nose, and the only thing that gives me nosebleeds is meth. Yeah, BA of hydro is far higher snooted than orally.
 
Ya, some really bad pain, even worse then snorting MDMA. I read about a method about preparing a hyrdromorphcontin nasal spray. I think I may try this method but would I need to crush the beads before attempting to dissolve them in solution?
 
You have to powder the beads to break the time release, otherwise you have to soak ER meds in something acidic for at least 12 hours, and you don't want to put acidic liquids anywhere near your nose.
 
Hmm I've snorted little bit's of powder that ended up on my cooking table and it didn't burn that much. But i crush them up to a fine powder so maybe you didn't crush the hydro's up enough?
