First of all, I'm new, first post, and all that malarkey. Moving on.
A certain topic on the effects of drugs has recently piqued my interest, and I have pondered a specific question for quite a long time.
Certain infamous drugs such as PCP, Methamphetamines, and Crack cocaine have been historically noted to result in increased levels of paranoia/aggression in many individuals, and in the case of PCP, extreme aggression coupled with near-superhuman strength, a very volatile combination.
But my question is this: Is there a specific drug in the world designed for combat use, to stimulate the fight-or-flight mechanism of the brain, such as Methamphetamines and PCP, AND promote unrestrained hostility and aggression?
It's a hypothetical concept that I've wondered the plausibility of for quite some time: A drug that not only sends the user into an uncontrollable rage, but also removes the natural inhibitions of the brain's use of muscles, plus with complete and total stimulation of the Sympathic nervous system along with all the resulting effects (Ie: Accelerated heart and lung function, liberation of nutrients into the bloodstream, and inhibition of certain emotional responses such as panic, fear, and most importantly pain.)
Now, I ask, does such a drug exist? If not, is it possible to be created within the realm of possibility, or is the hypothetical "Superhuman berserker" substance that I have thought up merely a loose work of wishful thinking?
