I know that clonidine is used to lessen the severity of one's withdrawals, but what about inderal or propanolol. I have some of that. Do they work the same way?

No, it doesnt. Clonidine reduces the effects of norepinephrine in the CNS that can lead to decreases in agitation, sweating, hot flashes as well as helping with anxiety and sleep. Inderal is a beta blocker that primarily has antihypertensive actions. It can be used for certain types of anxiety, but usually just stops the physical symptoms of anxiety like increased heart rate and tremors.
