Benzos Hypersensitivity to short acting powerful benzos? (etizolam)

So, I dont like benzos, err....they just arent a recreational substance for me. They arent trippy, they arent morish and the certainly arent euphoric for me. However, I find them to be a wonderful tool for come downs of other drugs or for other times where I may want to ease anxiety, insomnia or overstimulation.

Ive tried several different benzos or their analogues. Never noticed much of a problem. With Xanax I crash for at least 8 hours and with klonipin I am pleasantly relaxed for about the same amount of time and sleep is definitely an option. Now ETIZOLAM on the other hand....I have heard from many sources that because its not a benzo its not quite as dangerous or addictive , etc. Well, to me it certainly has that sneaky benign relaxation that benzos seem to inevitably produce. Etizolam seems to feel exactly like a benzo.

Heres the problem, I have never hd any problems using benzos. They have always been a tool for me much in the same way a responsible person REALLY would use opiates for pain. But I noticed soething quite frightening the next day after using etizolam to smmothen out the end of some trips; I seemed to have experienced a pretty bad rebound anxiety, hypertension, rapid heart rate, etc. I dont know for sure if this was ONLY rebound anxiety or if this was a complete physiological reaction INCLUDING rebound anxiety. In other words was my anxiety a result of hypertension rapid heart rate, etc or vica versa? This is unfortunate for me because I can use etizolam responsibly and its very easily accessable (I dont have easy access for other benzos) and I like to use certain compounds which often call for some benzo intervension on the come down. Can any of you guys help me out? Has anyone else experienced these symptoms with ANY benzo use? Or more importantly in particlar with etizolam?? Im wondering if this may be a side effect that coinsides with its uniquely different structure? I might have to stop the etiz and somehow get some other benzos for my future adventures.

Etolizam seems to be a very addictive substance although I've never tried it myself I have seen many people starting threads asking how to stop their etolizam hell. One person was on here a week ago saying how he needs to take two etolizam every 2 hours or he goes into withdrawals he said he wanted to kill himself all day everyday because if the drug.
Its still pretty much a benzo with the same effects/similar withdrawal its just an analogue of a benzo but the benzene ring has been replaced by a thiophene ring, making the drug a thienodiazepine.

Although its supposedly not as bad as an actual benzo withdrawal it still ain't anything to play around with and it certainly has a high abuse potential.

It sounds like your body is not reacting well with the etolizam and it seems to be giving you more rebound effects than traditional benzos do so i suggest you just be safe and stay away from it. Its most likely due to the short action of it but it could be many factors.

Sorry I can't help much more benzos are not my niche per say I'm more knowelgeable with opiates I'm afraid.

Here is a thread where someone shares a bit about what their going through regarding etolizam withdrawal

Search around the internet for more stories to find similar ones to yours that could help you match up symptoms.

Mabye try a real benzo next time and see how that makes you feel afterwards.

.

Dont be afraid, your not alone in this ;) lol.

Thanks for the help guys. You two definitely put this thing into perspective for me. The short half life must be what it is. Its funny how freaking benign benzos feel in comparison to say...opiods....where you really get a crazy ass high...and the piper is expected to be paid.

Benzos ease you into addiction gently...its just a slight relaxing effect...nothing special...and then boom...HOOKED. Like I said though, luckily benzos dont tempt me AT ALL. Even though I have suffered from anxiety off an on...I still dont find the m to be an efective way of catching a buzz.

Very true bro, Recognize this and act upon it. I had major rebound anxiety after only 40 doses, it was intense, one day of pure withdraw, and then the next day I was fine but agitated, shorter half life means faster onset/peak of withdraw but goes away sooner too. Which is good.

Xanax is A LOT MORE dangerous than this stuff, and carries huge consequences if you are caught with it. "Im just gonna take some xanax to come down from this speed/LSD binge, and before you know it you are blacked out and wake up in jail" If you think the bait and hook with Etiz is bad, Xanax will sneak up on you SLOWLY, and then rip your face off
