Hydroxyzine used to get high?

I have hydroxyzine 25mg with me and I was wondering if I could get high off of them. They say it won't get you high like benadryl but...I got High from benadryl one time and I was hallucinating like crazy! I have some vicodin 750/7.5 and I read that it boosts opiate high. So if I wanted to mix them, how much will I take? I'm 5'4 and 110 pounds. I kinda wanna just get high from the hydroxyzine since I hate the APAP from vicodin and I'm too impatient for extracting.

Start with taking 25mg to 50mg of Hydroxyzine, and I'm not sure what your tolerance is like to opiates, but if you have little to no tolerance I would say try 15-20mg of Vicodin (Hydrocodone). But take the Atarax (Hydroxyzine) about 10-15 minutes before you take the Vicodin.

Hydroxyzine will potentiate the sedation, and will give a little boost of more euphoria as well. IMO, Hydroxyzine is hands down the best antihistamine out there and helps with sleep and anxiety as well with little to no habit forming properties.

You really shouldn't take more than 1g at once, 4g in 24 hours. There is a small difference between the dose that works and a dose that is dangerous and even though the dose you are suggesting isn't huge I strongly recommend you do a CWE (see CWE megathread for more info :) )

Everyone's liver is different too - some people get damage at much smaller doses than others, only slightly above the recommended range, and it also depends on things like how much alcohol you drink etc..

As am sure you know APAP is very toxic to your liver in overdose and liver failure is not a nice way to die (and liver damage without failure is no fun either, and often you won't know about it unless you take a blood test). Worth a bit of effort to save your liver, no? :)

Might seem like I am being over-cautious for what is a fairly small amount of APAP, but better safe than sorry and also good to get into the habit now so when your tolerance goes up you are already used to CWEing..

You are safe as long as you do not exceed 4G of APAP in 24 hours (4000MG). Now you can take 4000MG (4G) of APAP at once if you wish, but I would not recommend doing this everyday or even two days in a row. Some people can handle more APAP at once if their liver is very healthy, and they don't drink Alcohol at all.

But like the above poster said, do NOT exceed 4000MG in a 24 hour period to be on the safe side. If you have a high opiate tolerance and require more hydrocodone in the Vicodin to get you high, than I would recommend doing a CWE as well (Cold Water Extraction) which you can find out how to do on this site very easily.

^Yep. Don't try to get high off it alone. It is great at putting you to sleep, and as a potentiator for opiates. It can also be an effective anti-anxiety drug for some people.

Don't go shoving pills in your mouth hoping for a "TRIPPEN OFF BENADRILL" experience. Please.
 
Ive never taken benadryl with opiates. Is it really that awesome & will make you trip as stated above? Hmm.....Also, what kind of benadryl do I buy or does it not make a difference?

i hope this is sarcasm. but if it isnt, i apologize if i offend and will now answer your question.

for use with opiates you would only take 2 or 3 times the recommended dose (50mg or so is best IMO). it will add to the sedation and really isnt that great unless youre trying to nod. now, if taken alone in 10-20 times the recommended dose (start with 200-300mg) you will feel very heavy and wont trip really, you will become delirious and have true hallucinations like talking to people that are not there. however, you probably wont even remember youve taken a drug at this point, let alone realize that your brother, cameron diaz, and your fifth grade science teacher are not really there. also there is no euphoria, and no other desirable effects.
but if youre hell bent on it, plain regular benadryl is all you need.
 
thelostboys, imo potentiating opiates with antihistamines gives a dirty high. yeah, you get more of the nods and tiredness, but it's not a clean feeling. competitive inhibition in the liver helps with elimination rates, though.
 
Promethezine works really well for me, def adds to noddiness and doesn't feel "dirty" IMO.. am trying hydroxyzine tonight though so will see how that compares! Does seem very subjective though, everyone has a different preference..
 
^You're lucky, promethazine isn't OTC in the United States. We do have doxylamine and diphenhydramine. I've used all three of those with success when it comes to potentiating opiates.

Yeah, its sucks......we should also have codeine OTC like they do in some countries, grr......
