Hydromorphone - Worth my time?

in reference to the original question, i dont think hydromorphone is worth your time.

I have experience with heroin (snort), hydrocodone/apap, hydromorphone, morphine (unfortunately not IR), and oxycodone/apap.

hydromophone i have taken orally and snorted. it is a different high than the others, but i would not say superior. i would take hydromorphone over having no opiate any day of the week, however id say its roughly equivelent in pleasure/euphoria to hydrocodone or morphine (not as inebriating as morphine though). oxycodone and heroin was both better.

to give you an idea on doses, i would say 8mg hydromorphone ORALLY is roughly equal to 20mg hydrocodone or 15 mg oxycodone. those arent the actual dosage calculatiions, but it will give you an idea.

I would say snorting hydromorphone would definitely be worth your time, if you can get what you consider to be a "strong" dose of it for less than a dose of oxy..Otherwise I would probably go for the oxy, unless you're willing to IR it as some others have said. I've heard that works excellent for hydromorphone.

he might have meant IR intra rectaly and i can tell you thst it works with some drugs and not others unfortunatly i have found that dilaudid sucks all around because i dont shoot

Thanks for all the replies. Decided to go with sort of a trail mix.. Oxycontin, Percaset, Morphine, Hydromorphone, and Methadone. Good times.

^The methadone would have ended up blocking most of the effects from all the other opiates..depending on your dosage...save taht for later next time.

No, I didn't take them all at once. Just decided to aquire some of each.

What's a good dose of Oxycodone (I'm a really big guy) for someone with no tolerance?

Start with 15mg to 20mg because you can always up the dose, but you cant do anything cept suffer if you take too much.

20 mg at most, 10 mg will prob give you a nice buzz. when you dont have a taste for opiates, you have to understand that more isnt always better. a higher dose can make you dizzy and nauseated while a lower dose will give you a nice little outlook on life.
