Opioids Hydromorphone uncertainties

I typically take 28mg of dilaudid orally per 24 hours (tablets). I’m not getting the same relief as I previously did with my old script of oxycodone. I’ve been looking at other threads on “boofing” hydromorphone.

I just want to make sure I’m being safe with it, any advice on how many mg’s would be safe to start with trying this new to me kind of method? Thanks

Ugh…...im long sober from all that and even I cringed at how bad you’ve wasted that stuff by doing that unfortunately. No surprise you think it’s weaker than oxycodone but oh well.


No need to go that far by sticking it up your ass lmfao. At least just crush up a pill in between something hard, rack it up with credit card or something and sniff. Start with one pill go from there. Not hard. The shields and D8 brand ones don’t produce a lotta powder

It’s against the rules for anyone to provide you an exact mg to dose with so don’t ask that. General ballpark is different if you take 28mg a day just start with an 8mg pill and go from there like I said since even an opiate naive person won’t be in danger from that level

Thanks, yeah I made a terrible decision by switching over to these new meds. Not sure why but my IR oxys seemed to kick harder when having bad flare ups on my leg. I’ve tried everything I could to increase oral bioavailability (foods, drinks, etc..) but nothing seems to hit.

Ideally, a micron filter. But more realistically and honestly, for rectal administration, a simple rolled up piece of cotton can be sufficient. You could tear off a piece of a Q-tip and roll it between your fingers and use that as a filter.

Cut a 1/3 off end of cigarette butt or cotton ball…..not as important as IV injecting cause it’s going into anus.

Just little inside, not too deep……3/4 pinki finger length max…..rich in blood vessels there……but lay there on bed on side until you feel the warmth of HM ……then get up and place toilet paper just in case water leaks out

A micron filter is the best of the best …..required for IV injecting which is relatively dangerous due to excipients bulking agents

Dilaudid tablets are better …..a certain brand is the best, forgot brand ….apparently original formula hypodermic tablets from 1930’s can orally ingest or crush water and inject. Could be mistaken on that though

HM very water soluble and only 0.5ml water required……but the excipients could affect the volume of water……you might need 1ml of water…..and when you draw it up through cigarette filter, only 0.5ml water will be drawn up

I’ve done Hydromorph Contin (Hydromorphone XR) tiny beads, pulverized in glass pharma motor & pastel
HM Contin 9mg XR X 1 capsules
Dilaudid 2mg IR X 4-6 tablets

Oxy-IR 5mg tablets X 5-10 tablets
illicit Heroin (15 years ago when it was actually Diacetylmorphine and no Fentanyl)

Cold turkey 2 weeks of hell, then Methadone 40……increased over 20 years to Methadone 100-125mg daily for chronic pain…….dopaminergic stimulants (Ritalin 50-70mg) to prevent sedation, enhance analgesic properties of the opioids, increase vigilance and energy/drive, and a very effective antidepressant/ mood-boosting euphoric properties

Opioid + Stimulant/ oral speedball or Brompton cocktail is my regiment

HM oral syringe, insert into anus, plunger down and chill for few min, opioid warmth comes in 5min or less……safe & effective.

Be safe, start low if not tolerant 4-6mg is high for opioid naive individual….tolerant individual can IV 4 Oxycodone 80mg tablets and be fine. Tolerance……it’s paramount, same as ROA & dosage

Ya lol……imagine ordering a juice pizza with 10 slices and throwing 7 slices in the trash and just enjoying 3 splices lol, WTF man…….I want ALL 10 slices. That’s why HM is often used in hospital settings via injection

Having a Sandoz Canada Hydromorphone HP FORTE 10ml tiny glass vial with an ENTIRE gram of HM in it, 1,000 mg in a tiny 10ml glass vial. 100mg HM in a single 1ml syringe….my lord lol ……I wish I had few boxes fresh from factory stored in cold dark dry cellar

Yeah intranasal is not that much better either but yeah one time oxy was dried up and all I could get was 4mg(possibly 2mg) dilaudid and I ended up snorting like 4 or 5 and chased the dragon for another..high tolerance to oxy, but the high finally came to me and felt good but also very very itchy like weird places, inbetween fingers or bottom of my foot. It didn't really bother me, felt good to actually feel that histamine release.
