Opioids Hydromorphone/Kratom... How long should I wait after last dose of Hydromorphone, to take Kratom?

I am planning on quitting my Hydromorphone, and am hoping that Kratom will work, to help with withdrawal. I have been informed to wait until I start feeling withdrawal symptoms, before I start the Kratom. I start feeling withdrawal symptoms 4-6 hours after my last dose, sometimes less. I am wondering how long I should wait after my last dose of hydros, to start taking the Kratom, to avoid any adverse affects, or OD. Thanks

It kicks in for me in about ten minutes.
So, no need to stress out and take it too early.

It will help.
I have used it on occasion to get through a day or two of no morphine.
I was amazed how good it worked.

Just be aware that it really makes your tolerance go up (at least it did for me and others have said the same thing).
Also, it has a withdrawal of its own that I hear is brutal but short.

Yeah, it makes your tolerance to opiates go up.
I have used all the different strains and they all kept me out of horrific withdrawal from morphine but then when I got my prescription filled, the morphine was not even holding me.
I went through some bad, bad, sweating from it.
I would just be soaking wet in like a few seconds.
It was horrible.

I would taper down on the hydromorphone if I was you and planning on quitting.
That is really the way to go.
All this other stuff just switches you from one thing to another.
Slow taper.
